Is anyone using an iPad and Photobucket having this problem: constantly being bombarded by either facebook.com-m.space or ads.loadreviews.com that say your iPad has been randomly selected to win an iPhone 6s or a $1000 WalMart card or something? I wrote twice to complain to Photobucket since I pay $9.99/year so as not to have any ads when I use their website! The intrusions/spamming is so constant that you can hardly use the website! Any ideas what else I could do? I have the Secure Web app on my iPad, so I should see what help that can be.

Photobucket has a lot of problems. But I've never seen this one. Then again, I avoid it as much as possible.
-
I switched over to Secure Web browser and have had no more problems!

Problem solved.

Only temporarily. They found me there too! Grrrr...... Supposedly Photobucket is "working on the problem." :
-
Is anyone else unable to access their website? What's going on? I tried Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.
-
Hi Nancy, I am able to access Photobucket, but the site is slow-moving on this end. Anita

I was able to access mine!
-
It came back online shortly after I posted this. Checked and they had been having problems with many people unable to access the site.

Photobucket has been so screwed up lately! You log in but when you try to upload a new photo it prompts you to log in again! What other site could I use instead?
-
BUMP! My post (question) got merged with this thread. What photo hosting site do you use?
-
What about flickr? Speaking of photos when is this site gonna improve on how photos are posted when one is "quoted"? Other sites show a small verssion of the pic being discussed. Here it is usually rendered useless & you have no idea what pic a person is referring to. It is really slow especially when it is photobucket.

Thanks for the suggestion. And as to your question, when? Probably never!

Found out I already have a Flickr account. Had no problem uploading photos, but then when I went to try to share them, I couldn't get this iPad to copy the URL (img) in order to paste it here! Will try tomorrow on my laptop.

http://photobucket.com/pricing What photo-sharing service can I move to that is free and allows 3rd party hosting?
-
Have you looked into postimg.org? Or flickr?
-
Thank you for bringing this up. I got their message about - hey we see you doing third party hosting ... Pay our premium and you can. I thank them for what they allowed me, but usually I don't like to pay For premium ... That is just me. It all could add up too quick ... I am showing a lot and then not using it - to not make It worth it ... Unless I turn pro ... I use it for my cartoons not photos.

At another forum I use, they have suggested http://village.photos/ Several of us got emails from Photobucket demanded $$$ or take photos down. I downloaded all of my photos and quit Photobucket. No way am I paying $400.

I tried to download all of my photos from Photobucket today and it isn't working.

I would think that $39.99 a year would work better for them. Pretty economically shocking indeed for so many of us
