Very, very sad - I just posted re. the same RIP thread I listened to this earlier tonight - a Brit. from across the pond comments on the above: What Pisses Me Off About The Ariana Grande Terrorist Attack

I'm so upset I forgot my password-I had to look it up where I keep them. They're kids, just kids. What kind of monsters kill kids??? I know what I'd LIKE to do to those A-------holes; but I can't print it. My thoughts are with all people affected by this atrocity.

I've been up there in that foyer space so many times, and my partner uses that train station twice a day, i'm only 12 miles from Manchester and everyone here is absoltely sickened by this The media keep saying it was a foyer, but to people who go to concerts you think of that space as being in the arena, as you have already gone up all the huge steps from inside the station to the arena, and it has a merch stand, t shirts, programme sellers, the box office windows, a mcdonalds, its a big open foyer with the doors to the arena at one side, that are where you show your ticket and have the quick serach. After a gig those those are just open and everyone, nearly everyone in there, comes out that way. I don't know anyone who was there, but you don't need to do you, you feel so sick about it, it's just awful..

Deep Sorrows to those who lost a family member in this ... And a speedy recovery for the injured. To those that saw all of this and will never forget any of this. Peace and comfort.

I understand this guy's anger and you know he wanted to say more - with strong words and Emphasis - To call these sub human animals In their cult out - Enough is enough

Terrible that these killers don't realize how precious life really is. So sorry for all the innocent ones lost.
-
A little unnerving that my daughter is over there for school, although pretty far from Manchester (Norwich, near the opposite coast)....but from our perspective, everything seems close over there
-
Unbearable A lot of little girls were at that concert, too And their parents. How many were lost and injured and may still lose their lives from their injuries. Innocents all. I hate violence, I hate hatred and hate that this makes me feel rage and hate.

Paul just released his statement on this tragedy. Not only does this hit close to home for him literally, but recall that he said he likes Ariana Grande in the recent Q&A. I'm guessing Bea is probably a fan, so this must hit him especially hard. I'm sure I speak for many of us from elsewhere in this community who feel a tremendous connection to the wonderful people of NW England, and whose hearts ache for you all today. As a live music fan, it is heartbreaking that there are those who seek to destroy one of the greatest sources of joy for many, but we won't let them intimidate us.

This is so so very tragic...I can't understand it. A real tragedy... Prayers to our British neighbors... I really like the British attitude in this type of situation... Basically much less focus on who did it, and a carry on...we will not allow you to stop us with your fear tactics. Love the Brits and their carry on attitude... Sending out many heartfelt prayers across the pond today

I promise you we all feel the love, the response in Manc has been very moving. My partner had to get the bus to work as the train station attached to teh arena os obviously still closed, he said it was just a strange upsetting feeling being in the city centre, but that later in the day when he was about to set off home again the feelings had changed to love peace and solidarity. I still can't believe this has happened, those poor poor people, just there for a concert, and the parents who have died waiting outside for their children.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the innocent victims, friends, and families in Manchester, England. I cannot comprehend the hatred exhibited by the cowards who perpetrated this evil act. The U.K. and America will always stand together to fight terrorism.

I have no words.

I cannot imagine what the parents of these kids are going through. I am now 61, soon to turn 62. Glad I grew up in a simpler time when there was no terrorism. I was about the same age as these kids were (1o/11) back in 1966 when I managed to see The Beatles here in concert. It is just so senseless to target defenseless children attending a concert.

A particularly story I heard today that was hard to hear involved a mom who was injured during the attack and is currently being treated at a hospital...and unaware that her 8 year old daughter was killed in the attack (I believe the mom was still unconscious)

I couldn't think of any kind of response until late last night... "Some People Think That People Who Promote Peace And Love Are Fools...I Don't Know...I Think I'll Stay A Fool!" MANCHESTER 2017 ~ Steve "How in the world you gonna see laughing at fools like me" ~ //oo\\ "We are fools for Christ's sake, but you are wise in Christ; we are weak, but you are strong; you are honorable, but we are despised. ~ 1 Corinthians 4:10 NO ONE...is going to any form of heaven in any way shape or form, who thinks that killing people for any reason under any circumstance... Is the way to get people to STOP killing people

Very nice story about the woman who called as many of the girls as possible together and then posted on Facebook for their parents to find them. Also, the Muslim taxi driver who gave free rides home to anyone who needed them.
