For those unfamiliar, this is very likely the worst Beatles-related film ever made by human beings. Watching Peter Frampton assassinate "The Long and Winding Road" is something only a masochist would endure.

Haven't seen this movie since it came out, but I kind of have to agree with Bruce on this one!

A while back someone posted the whole thing on YouTube, broken into segments. I don't know if it's still there or not. Now that they're getting ready to sell it for home video someone may have gotten around to enforcing the copyright. In any case, watch at your own risk: It WILL kill brain cells.

The movie was unfairly criticized at the time, imo, because how dare anyone try to make a movie around the songs of the best band of all-time. Sacrilegious & too soon after the breakup. But, the movie can now be enjoyed on its own merits & has some really great sequences & performances - Aerosmith in their prime doing 'Come Together', Steve Martin at his zany best doing Maxwell Silver Hammer & the 'Golden Slumbers' funereal scene at the end chokes me up every time.
