Cute tune! Is it yours? Is there a meldoy for it? I just wrote one for it. It'd be fun to set this to music and record it.
-
Yes, I've got a tune for it, audi. I'm gratified you came up with one, too! Go for it if you're inspired and let us see the results, I just think it's so cute and cool that you have one. I can't write music or play an instrument (sobs). "baby I love you," I don't have a tune for that one, but it came out kind of a bit creepy and Gothic in parts of the lyrics. Like "The Cure" style sort of. My tune for "Sass" is kind of acoustic guitar driven like an early Carly Simon song and reminds of her style but also could be given a pop arrangement, I guess. It could be electric guitars instead of acoustic (I guess). Sure am curious what yours sounds like, especially since I've got one, too. Oh yeah it's one of mine, that's why I have my byline there at the bottom

It was a folk rock effort for acoustic guitar. In a way I can't imagine it as anything but folk rock style, would be interesting to hear your version, audi I hope you will put it to your music & sing it! Oh boy (and make a vid) !!
-
Consider me commissioned! I'll see what I can do...
-
OOOOOOH, Audi !!! What a THRILL--!!
-
Just to be clear, Suz: You wrote this, yourself?
-
Yeppers I did write it, a long time ago, and a tune to it popped in my head too. Will be interesting to hear how your tune you conceived differs from mine! Would be freaky if it's similar I WROTE THIS, audi...!!! Thanks so much for your interest and all
-
Really impressive! OK ... I expect to get a lot of recording done over the next week or so! I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll avoid blabbling how this tune struck me. Until then...

SO, the question is naturally, where is YOUR version of your song?!?

Right here, bro! http://rapidshare.com/files/231024272/Audi_-_You_Got_More_Sass_Than_Class__demo_5-4-2009___all_tracks_.mp3.html When I'd first read Suzy's lyrics, I immediately realized what a potentially great, funky "hook" this song could have. I got the basis for the groove by deciding to keep the focus on our dear Paulie -- after all, he's why we're all here, right? I embellished on his version of the groove-jam song "Bring It To Jerome" (from Back In The US DVD, which is a sound-check bonus track). Still, I had trouble creating an arrangement, but I'm pretty happy with it now. By the way: Everything you hear, I JUST did this morning; it's better than previous attempts I'd made over the past couple of weeks. However -- in true, Audi fashion: It is far from technical perfection. One day, I'll re-do the lead vocal. I don't like the effect I chose all that much, but -- with all that said -- ya'll will definitely feel da' funk! -a

Yeah!!! Great, great, great!!! That was groovy!!! Nice work, it's a really cool song, with a lot of energy, and you've made up some great guitar, bass and vocals! Impressive! And of course, Suzy, the lyrics was very cool too!!

Well, B, with a stamp-of-approval from YOU, I know it must be good. I hope Suz checks it out. B, I hope you have something for us soon. You're the best. -a
