Glad you all enjoyed the show. I saw you and your wife and daughter. We were a couple of rows back but right behind you. We were jealous at how petite your daughter was and how easy you were holding her up as opposed to how we were struggling with our big lump of a son!! Amazing to think there was only a year between them!! Needless to say though despite everything, he had a great time and couldn't wait to take his ticket into school yesterday to show off to his teacher and friends. Chris
Hi Chris. Yeah, my daughter is little enough to be able to lift up fairly easily. And she was just about the right height for standing on her seat - she was about as tall as an adult when she was on the seat - although my wife was worried because we had a fairly short bloke behind us who wasn't looking pleased when she did do it. But if he had had an adult in front of him he wouldn't have seen much anyway! Here's me and my daughter enjoying the Live and Let Die fireworks ....

Hello all.. I was also at the Hampden gig, i was really looking forward to it for weeks, I knew it would be good, however I didnt know I was about to have one of the greatest nights of my life!!!!!!! I was blown away from the start, and it just kept getting better and better. I am not ashamed to say a shed a few tears during Hey Jude! Paul' vocal its just so strong and didnt falter throughout!! I was there with many members of my family, young and old and everyone danced and sang the all to short night away!! As we left the gig my 16 year old son(who is going through his teenage angst, nothing impresses me stage) turned to me and said.. " I thought id seen real gigs, but that was stunning, how can it be followed?" Thank you Sir Paul!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WELCOME, JOHNNY!!! i'll have to check out the theads on this concert - WOW!!!!

We were in the fourth row of AA8. We had a fantastic night as always, well worth the trip from London to Scotland. Great to see him do M of K there as well, we saw it at the O2 in December, but it was fantastic to see it in Scotland. It's always special to me and my daughter as it was No. 1 in the charts the day she was born. My pics are here http//www.minikay.co.uk/images/MaccaGlasgow/ Excuse the fact that there are several pics of my daughter, but does anyone recognise the guys sitting beside her?

Nice pictures Kay. Looks like a great time. Looking forward to the Nashville and Montreal shows!!

That's a lovely picture peterbell, so glad yous enjoyed the show. Mull of Kintyre was just lovely, almost in tears, a bit of the old patriotism coming over me hehe. I hope Paul does more UK shows, if not this year, then next. Although preferably not while I'm in Spain! Next summer again would be lovely, and then after that I can see him rounding everything off with a world(ish) tour before his 70th.

i love seeing 'people' pics at concerts better than ones of paul. now ive seen this i think me and the misses were a little bit behind you to your right ! it was great that everyone stood in our section wasnt it . it can ruin a gig when you are forced to sit!

I don't mind standing in the slightest, but it doesn't suit everyone. I saw plenty of annoyed folk in AA7 that wouldn't share your sentiment. Chris

well my heart bleeds for them. perhaps they should have bought tickets for the stands! if you wanna be close to the stage AND SIT then i think its asking too much!....cake and eat it e.t.c anyway ive never ever witnessed stricted security or stewards like sunday.gosh they were mean at times.i saw many heated exchanges with disgruntled punters who only wanted to get a closer pic or something like that!

We were told that Paul doesn't like people sitting down during his gig so we just HAD TO stand up If you want so sit down close to the stage, you might wanna request a chair ON stage next time

They were HORRIBLE. We had a couple of arguments with them. Untill I saw Paul's 'soundcheck-lady' and asked her if she could convince the security guys to let us stand up. And she did a brilliant job!!!

Hi all. I tried to join the message board before the gig, but, had to wait for my registration. Anyway. What a fantastic night. I hope to be posting regularly.

I was standing in the stand. Or should I say dancing in the stand. I keep going on You Tube to re-live Sunday Night. It's had quite an effect on me. I just had the greatest time. What an atmosphere. I've not even read my programme yet but will do tonight. Thanks everyone for showing your pictures. 2:

My daughter & I were up most of the time & later on my husband as well. The woman sitting behind me was well peed off with us I think. She started to bang my seat with her foot so it was hitting the back of my legs until I turned round & gave her my most withering of looks. She stopped then I heard her say to who she was with ' Why is she constantly taking photos of him ?' Well why do you think love : The guy in front was a typical old fart at one of Paul's gigs. Sat there , arms folded not moving. WHY do these people come : He must have loved me singing & yelling at the top of my voice & then waving glow sticks around. One lady in front of us a couple of seats up cried her eyes out when Hey Jude started. I'm with 3 other big Paul fans like me at Cardiff. Husbands have been sent to the back of the stadium We shall be giving it our all on Saturday.

OMG!! I am still on a high, I won't sleep for days now! Now that my brain is partly engaged I would like to give a big thanks to all those that I met from here. I don't know all of your forum names, please tell me on this reply but I know your names and feel so blessed to have met you. It all started off for me on the Saturday night meeting up with peeps at Maggie May's for a meal and Revolver. Who were spot on! Those guys did not need mop top wigs and costumes. Their playing blew us away. So lovely to meet, Jolanda, Christine, Eva, Claudia, Allison and her mum Jean and of course the other Jean from France You are all awesome and so friendly. Glad some are on facebook too! Here's some pics from the Revolver night... http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v240/anyanka_vengeance/PM%20Forum%20meetup%20and%20Revolver%20-%20190610/ and then it was Sunday! I can't remember parts, I was so much in awe, shock and excitement! Again it was good to bump into Claudia, Christine, Jolanda, Jean and Allison again. It was so random how we all met. We peeked through the gates for the soundcheck, how very naught of us but it made our afternoon I tell ya! Then went for a quick drink and then a bite to eat of a rather, rank, not so nice fried veggie burger. Milled about for a bit, rescued Jolanda *coughs* and then we headed inside. My block was BB7 but those I had met were in AA6 etc...so I walked down to chat, and erm stayed there! Yay!! Spoke to Macca's assistant who is also most awesome. She said we could stand and I wouldn't stop thanking her and that she made my night! Paul came on, I got nervous and shakey and then before I knew it....we were FRONT ROW standing!!! Security had no chance! arf! I loved every moment, too many moments to mention but can I mention one? PAUL SPOKE TO ME!!!! I don't know if you heard, he asked if we remembered the 60s? I'm 33, I didn't so shook my head rather animatedly and he saw me....pointed for a bit and said 'You don't remember the 60s, then pointed at the young lad beside me and said 'you don't remember the 60s' and then pointed at himself....'but I remember the 60s'!!! I could have died. he pointed and winked to lots but that was 'my' little moment. If anyone has this on film or anything let me know, I will sell my soul to see that! The show was over before we knew it...those 3 hours rocked! Afterwards we hung about and did some dancing and singing to Dance Tonight played on my Blackberry. heh heh! oh good times! So here is my photos, enjoy and I hope to see you all again soon and keep in touch.
