Ringo 2018 European tour!
-
Wow, didn't see that one coming:
Ringo and his All Starr Band to play 21 European (and Israeli) gigs in June/July:

Interestingly enough, no UK dates so far...
-
Also interesting, is the disappearance of Todd Rundgren and Richard Page (FINALLY!)...honestly, I'm surprised Steve Lukather is staying on for 2018. He has a crazy busy year for Toto's 40th Anniversary. I wasthinking if Ringo did anything, that he would have to drop off the tour. I'll miss Todd a bit. He adds a unique touch that only he can. As for Richard Page, hit the road Jack. Graham Gouldman is pretty out of left field...never would have pegged him for an all-starr, but I welcome it! Colin Hay has been out for a decade now too, so I'll take him. Hopefully this comes stateside in the fall of 2018 (with some shakeups in the setlist)...

He does all the heavy lifting with regard to the guitar solos, and I think he enjoys playing them, especially the Santana songs.
In the 2017 tour thread, we were just discussing the fact that no new band members meant no new songs to learn for Ringo; well, now he has to learn a couple! I wonder if there will be any US "warmup" shows before they head overseas. -
Finally Israel!
Does anyone know when ticket sales will begin?

If you click on that link to Ringo's page, next to each tour date there is a "tickets" button. Here's for one of the Tel Aviv dates (and congrats on getting shows!):

I'd keep watching that page, then. Also looks like you can enter your email address to get updates about tickets.

Please tell us how you were able to post a clickable link! Help! I tried to copy and paste a Wikipedia page but you could not click on it. Then later I copied and pasted a youtube page and it came out fine (clickable, in blue)

Anyone here going to any of these shows? Are tickets for this tour selling well?
I bet the first one to sell out will be Paris, as there are less than 2,000 seats available and it's easier for both French and UK fans to attend. Besides, it's an iconic venue: the Olympia theater.
-
I'm going to Vienna (where tickets are selling quite well) and maybe Marostica (where still a lot of tickets are available).

Ringo will do a show in Atlantic City, NJ on June 02, just a few days before his European tour:

Also, any links you want to post have to be pasted in the link button (looks like a paperclip) You have to paste in in the box in the 2 areas Display Text and URL. Then click OK and then click New Reply. The link will then show up in blue and will be clickable. Your above 2 links are not.
-
The YouTube video you tried to embed is showing up now, but it will disappear in 30 minutes. You have to just post a direct link to it using the directions I gave you. Thanks!

Got 2nd row for late September! Looking forward to seeing him and the All Star Band again.
-
My BFF got 3rd row seats in Chicago for her and her mom. The venue doesn’t allow posters or photos though!

Going to the New York City show on September 13...haven't seen the All-Starrs since 2014 so I'm looking forward to a couple of new songs in the setlist.
