Just for fun - think of titles for Paul's new album

He could call it 2020, after the year it will be released.
I don't think it'll be that long. Looks like he's been working with mixers and producers in getting it ready, hopefully before the end of this year.
Another good title for his new album:
Anticipation
(remember that old Ketchup commercial..... as it slowly pours out of the bottle, the Carly Simon song plays...."Anticipation... Anticipation.. is making me wait..." )
And we're all really anticipating and looking forward to whenever it will be.

The Sower... after a beautiful painting by van Gogh

"Good To The Last Bop" (after the old Maxwell Coffee ad, "Good to the Last Drop")
The Ballad of Long Tall Sally and Paul Ramon"--if the album has a plethora of romantic songs (Long Tall Sally is my nickname for Nancy, she looks real tall to me)
Magical Mystery Lure
From Liverpool to London
Good Rays of Sunshine after Good Day Sunshine
British Spree (after English Tea)
There Will Always Be A Liddypool
Famous Groupies in a Girls School in the Heart of the Country (a bit dodgy, might be offensive?)
Music! Music! Music!
I Was Singing This Song For You

“Good To The Last Bop" (after the old Maxwell Coffee ad, "Good to the Last Drop" LOL you covered a lot in that one Suzy

Good to the Last Bop I love that title Susy! And it's so true.... Wouldn't it be nice if MPL had a contest for naming the album? Like getting two front row VIP tickets to one of his upcoming shows or something? Know "Good to the Last Bop" would be a good contender!
Perhaps this photo could be used on the cover

The obvious follow up to New is New II (Two) but it's not very imaginative.

New II isn't bad. It's not easy choosing a catchy title... maybe the album will end up being named after one of the songs on it.

Timelines
The Universe and Everything
Infinity

"Sonic Sensations"

How about 'Paul McCartney Goes Too Far"? We've been waiting a long time for that album. Would be great as long as the music was aligned to the title (like Liverpool Sound Collage). Perhaps slip 'Carnival of Light' on as a hidden track. In my dreams, I know.

"Everybody's Got Something to Hide 'Cept for Me and My Macca"
--was listening to the White Album and it's a blast to hear John's cheeky rocker "Everybody's Got Something to Hide Cept for Me and My Monkey" play, followed by Paul's uber sweet ballad "I Will," a cool contrast, the zany wild madcap song and then the exquisite ethereal one. Always felt scandalized, sort of, wondering if John was calling Yoko his monkey, how cheeky!
Seeing the Japanese artist hipster in the recording studio with Paul in a recent pic I thought "here come some more weird sounds" like in "Appreciate" on "New"--Paul does sound sexy and sophisticated in parts of that song. I appreciate all the intriguing very special Beatlesque art rockish touches on "New" like those he featured here and there on "Memory Almost Full," and hope for some on his new album... I'll wager there will be, these thrill the ears. It's almost like George Martin is in the studio in spirit form encouraging such wonderful flourishes.

Just posted at Paul's instagram and twitter (after instagram had been wiped clean... and twitter banner and profile pic gone). Could this be a clue for the new album's title, and is part of the artwork? What do you think it could be?
1. Light at the end of the tunnel
2. Right on Track
3. Back on Track
4. Love Train
5. The Course of My Direction
6. Conductor
7. (A clue: first "track" of new album will soon be revealed?)
-
pyramids and rainbows?
My guess this is a message regarding the new album, that there is light at the end of the tunnel.... thus, a message that news is coming soon.
-
Good guesses!
-
I agree that it's "light at the end of the tunnel," letting us know the wait is almost over and an announcement will be made soon...
Somehow it feels like the end of the pre-show, and the music is getting louder and we can see the image of the guitar, as the crowd cheers.... he'll probably be making some kind of an entrance very soon *feeling the anticipation*
-
If drawing is a clue ? How about Tunnel Vision as a title.

Ok, I'll go first ...
1. One Hand Knee Slappin'
2. Flying High (with artwork on cover of him in an air balloon wearing top hat and tails)
3. Zap!
(a double album. When opened, the vinyl edition could have two large center photos. One of Paul from AHDN saying "Zap!" and next to it --on the other side-- a recent photo of him making the dreaded X from Family Feud! He'd probably have to write a title song though, which might be tricky ... but if anyone could pull it off, Paul could! )
I guess he did not want any of our great ideas and went for Egypt Station - lol

I've heard that MPL has a strict policy on not accepting unsolicited ideas, in case someone would sue them later for coming up with something they'd eventually use. Wouldn't have to worry about that with any of us I think, lol... if there had been a contest for selecting the new album title, would have been happy with winning front row VIP seats at a concert of our choice as a prize, or perhaps he'd accept a song request from the winner or something lol. But wasn't looking for any kind of reward or prize.
He could have a secret stash of songs that he writes, just for fun, that aren't for recording... who knows, there could be a "Zap!" or "Good to the Last Bop" or other songs on our suggestion list we may yet hear one day lol
I love his choice of "Egypt Station" and think it will make a great album title!
