I am so excited, its been 4 years since my last Macca show!!!!
I cannot believe that Sir Paul is coming back to Edmonton. I never thought he would come here once in my lifetime let alone twice. Counting the days till this Amazing night arrives...........Thanks Paul!!!

Will be going !
he plays on a sunday and the Edmonton hockey team has a game saturday afternoon, so if there is a 2nd concert it would be on the monday i think..see what happens

Booked a room nearby, now just gotta wait to snag a ticket, then book an $80 flight from Vancouver (Abbotsford actually).
Scored 2 decent floor seats together in 2012 on the BC Place show presale, but in 2016 at Rogers Arena, presale was lots of singles in the uppers -I did better on the actual public sale day.
We'll see if all this registration hype was worth it.

awesome...we are in okanagan and thinking of staying an extra night in case there is a 2nd date in Edmonton; not sure if he is going straight to Austin after or doing some US dates first and then Austin

I got an email saying I will get a text in the morning with the code...says presale "randomly assigned presale time is 1pm mountain time (noon PST) . Ticketmaster site says presale starts 10am? So I won't have access until 2 hours after presale starts?
Edit: looks like there are 2 presale times tomorrow and I must have got the later one...I guess

Correct. They stagger the access times so as not to clog up the system. I have mentioned on other threads how much I hate this system!

Good luck! I'm on waitlist so I may or may not get a code at all.

Prices are crazy...$800 each for row 13 on the floor

probably the worst experience with ticketmaster ever..the code didnt work for a couple of minutes and then there was basically nothing beside special packages and AMEX presale...like basically nothing
Dumb format; wish for the days of winning or losing at fan club presale or general sale. I actually could have got seats on the floor at the earlier presale even though my code was for the later date
Blech

Same as in U.S. My friend paid $850 for Gold VIP around the same row in Chicago last year.

I had a 10am VF code but didn't get what I wanted (floor), tried a few other times on mobile, but nothing came up, when I tried my code at 3pm (pst) on my laptop it still worked and all the remaining seats came up - mostly in sec 109-100 at $300+, as well as good uppers for the same (last time uppers were $200 flat)
I think all this VF is a bunch of bs hype to make TM look good - its nothing but a pr stunt where a few get rewarded, but most don't. Its just another way to sell off the cheap seats first and create a 'buzz' around the event, which inevitably leads to higher prices on the secondary market like StubHub - which TM owns!

Yep, I see the same ones...I have seen Paul a few times and I will always been on the floor 20 rows in or beside the stage. I never looked at bowl seats at the end (109/110) but i don't think they were also $295 plus charges last tours were they?
If floor seats were available (which they were not) they were also $295...so why would I pay $295 a long way from the stage? doesn't make sense to me.
I would go back to 10 am free for all..

FYI...Keep trying...I have been refreshing off and on over the last day and finally got Row 23 on the floor about 15 minutes ago
I saw some row 17 to 30 but were gone by the time i clicked on them. I would prefer closer but it's done

Wow, what a shitshow it was on TM for me this morning. When I went to buy tickets, it kept saying "Unable to complete request.." for about 45 min. I cleared my cookies, etc, but to no avail. It then finally spat out a couple of options - which I declined (picky, picky) - then it kept giving me the notice again, until it switched over to the interactive map and I scored a single 15th row floor seat after a few false starts ("another person beat you to these seats") at about 10:15pst.
A few middle and rear floors kept popping up and disappearing quickly, now its only vips left.
Heart rate returning to normal....breathe....whew!

I had some seats in the presale but went again this morning to see if i could get closer; basically nothing came for 2 seats and then about 10;20 saw some in the bowl in section 104, but they were not as good as what I had..
looks like only platinum seats left now plus a handful of uppper deck at the same price of floor seats
been to a few Paul concerts and im hard pressed to recall such a struggle to get tix...
but anyway, we are going and congrats to you!

Got tickets from VF at 1pm. From what I've remembered from last time (Edmonton 2012), my floor ticket at 7th row was $650... comparable a few years later at almost a cool $1k. I did the ticket sale at general sale and not fan club tickets at the time as I took my chances and made sure I had the money together.
I was a little sad this time at the VF set up as it was still fairly clogged even at the 1pm start. I had much better chances at seats at 5pm, as I figured that people would dump tickets they didn't like, or perhaps just stop trying as much, I guess. Although, I'm unsure about this.
I'm out at section 110 at like row 8. I got super lucky the first time he was here, but this time I get to bring my boyfriend along since I can afford it this time.
I just graduated out of school as a working professional, so this is a nice suprise for me to see him back in my town. Welcome back, hope you like the new arena....!
Anyone else here coming from elsewhere, come and meet up! I'll be happy to host a get together at a local brew before or after the show!
