Greenville, S.C. is a beautiful city, quite picturesque. It must be well positioned for fans to flock to the concert there from larger cities not very far from it, and he's never played there before. It's just under 70,000 in population. Maybe I should go see him play there instead; Raleigh looks good, too, though, has a lot of parks. Greenville is over twice as far from me as Raleigh is. So cool he's playing the Carolinas first, this go round ! In the States.

According to the link I posted yesterday, you have to have an AMEX card to buy ANY tickets, regular, VIP or “premium” which I guess is 1st or 2nd Row. If you don’t have an AMEX card, it looks like you have to wait for the general sale. Other venues like Lexington is different. You don’t have to have AMEX card to buy VIP tickets. I’m just glad I have one!

I might get a wild hair up my tail and buy a ticket (albeit less close) for Greenville too as well as Raleigh ! (Raleigh's a pretty place too, lots of parks, btw.) I tell about it in the Raleigh topic.

Does it say anywhere about the costs of the tickets? I wish somewhere it explained the different costs etc. I realize I’m up against the scalpers but I’d like to be as informed as I can be before they go on sale in the morning.
I’m new here. Just signed up! I’m living in St. Augustine with my husband and I’m surprising him by taking him to the Greenville show. I’d like to do soundcheck but my budget total is about $2500. Don’t think that will be enough.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts or input you might have.

So wait...
YOu HAVE to have AMEX to purchase tix in the fan club pre-sale?!

Hi all! Trying to figure out the new board and thought I'd try for tickets tomorrow but seems to be Amex only. Usually I pull good ones in the general and not looking for floor seats this time. Good luck to all trying tomorrow!

Yes! Read my post from 9/2.
To answer the other question, if the prices are the same as last year, front row (sides only) are $2100 each and includes soundcheck, dinner, merchandise. Hot Sound Package (rows 3-6 or 7) are $1600 each (same as above perks) 2nd Row you don’t get soundcheck and the price will be somewhere between $1700-$2000. Gold VIP $850 (no soundcheck, just merchandise and seat in rows 8-?) Silver VIP about $650. I don’t know any other details. Anybody?

I cant believe you have to have AMEX. This is ridiculous.
Isnt being in the fanclub enough?
I've gotten fanclub presale tix before and NEVER have I had to have an AMEX card.
I know this may not be Paul's decision but he really needs to step up with his fans and have some say in how this is done.

There is a link on Paul's news page with a presale password, so it's possible that those tix won't need an Amex, just the password.

This is what I'm hoping.

Ridiculous It's 9:03 and it says no tickets avaialb le.

All it's been showing is the Amex pre-sale, no mention of fanclub pre-sale. Wondering who is putting information about pre-sale links on this board leading us to believe it's for the fanclub?

And no prices being listed. Very wierd. Yes, I know the general amount of prices are listed but not for the VIP seats.
-
It's VERY frustrating. I'm with you oobu24 - his website is very unclear and misleading. Whoever is in charge needs to step it up and help the fans out. Not leave us in the dark. I've gotten fanclub presale tix before and I've never had to have AMEX. It's really unfair. Not everyone has AMEX.

No code was needed. I got Gold VIP for $700 each, but they are in section 102, not on the floor, but are in the 4th Row of that section, so a great view. My friend from Nashville is going with me.
Didn’t list prices until after you picked your tickets!

No one is worth $700 tickets. First row maybe. But not for that section.
I've seen him on the front row for $50. That's ridiculous. I guess you need to be a rich AMEX holder in order to get a decent seat to see Paul these days.
Yes, I'm bitter.Shame on Paul for this. He could have more say in this if he wanted to.
