Late reply to this show as have been busy since the night of the concert
What a great time for my 12th time seeing him.! We were on row 23 on the floor (not the best seats we have had for Paul but still ok). I like the floor; no issue when you satnd up. People on the floor stood all night.The arena was packed and it is cool to talk to like minded fans before during and after the concert. No real surprises to the setlist, but that didn't bother me. Some takeaways from the night;
I love the horns throughout the concert, especially on Letting Go as we were only about 15 feet away from the horn players; lucky us! Really liked how the new songs sounded too
It was neat to see younger people being there; mouthing the words plus it was funny with a few younger gents in our row just shaking their head as Paul kept playing and playing. I had from the time Paul stepped on stage till the time he left at about 2 hours and 55 minutes with 39 songs. Crazy.
The new visuals were neat and I thought Paul's voice was fine; little scratchy some times but I don't care about that. Fun taking pics with fellows in Sgt Pepper clothes.
Just a great night and the newspaper reviews next day were very good.
New Orleans next???
