Tribute from Paul on his Instagram today:

Woke up this morning to the sad news of Geoff Emerick's passing. He was a great engineer and friend, and even though @thebeatles had many great engineers over the years Geoff was the ONE. He was smart, fun-loving and the genius behind many of the great sounds on our records. I worked with him after The Beatles and it was always fun and the sounds he managed to conjure up were always special. Having seen him earlier this year when he came round to our studio I'm shocked and saddened to have lost such a special friend. God bless you Geoffrey - love Paul. x #PaulMcCartney #GeoffEmerick #TheBeatles -

Is there anything on Paul's actual site yet ? I couldn't see the last time I looked.

Paul wrote the most touching, eloquent tribute to his friend and co-worker in music, Geoff Emerick, on his Instagram. One of the most moving I've seen him pen to a friend and Beatles People person who passed away. Emerick must have been extraordinary. I want to read his book. By all accounts it's a great read, very interesting, recounting very special times.
Yes, Stuartshire, it's on Paul's home page here, too, accompanied by the most wonderful picture of the two in Paul's recording studio. You can see the love between the pair. No doubt you've seen this tribute, too, by now.
