Missing discs from 1971-73 box set
-
Hi everyone, I'm a huge fan of Paul (as are we all!), and have gotten all of his deluxe re-released albums. Whereas I normally order through Amazon, it seemed the only way to purchase the limited edition 1971-73 box set was through this website, so I went that route.
About $430 and two months later, the gorgeous package arrived yesterday. But you can imagine my chagrin to open the Red Rose Speedway Bruce McMouse folder and find two empty slots where the DVD and BluRay should have been. I searched through every other item in the box, in hopes that maybe the discs just slipped out, but I found nothing.
I emailed universalmusic@incontactemail.com and customersupport@shop.universalmusic.com, but the two-day response time is a bit frusterating. I'd prefer to be able to call someone today, and sort this out.
Has anyone else experienced any missing items in their box sets? Or can you offer any advice in contacting the merchandise company? I did call Live Nation Merchandise, seeing their name on this website, but was told the box sets didn't originate with them.
Thanks for any help you folks can offer.
Alex

So sorry to hear this! I ordered from a Canadian company, Music Vaultz, and had no problems (so far) A friend of mine ordered the John Lennon deluxe set (not sure from where) and the clear vinyl was missing! They finally sent it to her.
Hope you can get this resolved soon.

Perhaps Bruce McMouse got a bit peckish and has eaten the discs?
Hope you get replacements soon although it would be a pain to have to send the whole package back.

Not to mention a huge expense! I noticed it cost Music Vaultz $35 CDN ($25.92 U.S.) to send the set to me!

That's nothing! The shipping from England to the states costs $140.00 USD.

Universal Music Group customer service was responsive at first ... asking me to send a photo of the folder that's missing the discs, and telling me about a week later that "I have escalated your request for the missing Bruce McMouse Blu-ray to see if we have the item available separately and will follow up once I get a response."
That was Dec. 28. Despite me sending a few follow-up emails, I haven't received any response from UMG Customer Care, aside from the automated "thanks for writing, we'll try to respond within 48 hours" message.
Anyone else been having this issue? Is it normal to wait at least 19 days for a response?
