"The ex-Beatles star will be presented with the International Advocate for Peace Award by students of the Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution. The students are giving McCartney the honor because of his more than 50 years of creating songs that “celebrate love and understanding, empathy and connection — the foundations of peace that are the heart of the human struggle.”
Amen!!

Former Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill talked about Paul being at the graduation on MSNBC Morning Joe on Wed May 29th. Her daughter was among the graduates, as was Paul's step-son. She made a speech and was thrilled to get a hug from Paul. She also commented how wonderful it was that Paul stayed through the entire ceremony. ("He's a good guy!")
This was a long segment on the show, with the discussion praising the upcoming film Yesterday and with Joe Scarborough happily remembering meeting Paul and hearing "Jet", He's clearly a huge fan.
The segment aired between 7:15-7:30 AM.

The segment on "Morning Joe"about Paul begins at 25.48

I had missed this... So happy for a well deserved Peace Advocacy Award for Paul... very cool about the Cardoza Law connections to John as well.
The Beatles were directly related to my family's view on Love and Peace and views so important especially in todays world of uncertainty and whispers of war.
