Got Back - PaulMcCartney.com Pre-Sale

I was really hoping he would add another date in the NJ/NY area, but seeing that MetLife is nowhere near sold out, I doubt that's going to happen. In the good old days it would have sold out within an hour, but I'm sure these crazy prices are keeping a lot of people home. Who in their right mind would pay $500+ for obstructed view seats? It's insane.

OK, I got it!
The day of PMC's Fenway concert as I am not willing to spend $$$$$ for the concert, I am gonna ride in a gansta lowrider car with LED lights at the bottom and solenoid controlled shocks, riding around Fenway park blasting Rock Show.
Bouncy bouncy......
Cheers,
Dan

I have a question regarding "platinum" ticket sales.
I noticed that a lot of tickets in the first 10 rows that would have originally been sold as both "Front Row" and "Hot Sound" VIP packages, and would have included the soundcheck, are now selling as "Platinum".
Does that mean that less people will now be attending the soundcheck, since "platinum packages" do not include the soundcheck?
Yes.
I was very disappointed because I did not see any "Hot Sound"/VIP tix offered for sale. I was really looking forward to experiencing another soundcheck/VIP dinner and spending time with other fans.
Based on some of the dialogue I've read the past week, it seems that if you didn't purchase the Front Row and Hot Sound Packages (that included the sound check) during the initial minutes of the pre-sale they were scoooped up and re-issued to TM as "platinum" tickets at a higher price.
Interesting, I saw more Hot Sounds pop up during the regular sale than I did during the presale, but definitely not as many as there used to be, and not all in their usual locations. And thanks to the stupid queue, it was impossible to even look for tickets right away.

I got tickets for the NJ show on the American Express presale. I don't have a gold card or anything. Just a regular Amex.
Anyway, I logged in and at 10 am when the presale started I was put in the digital line and had to wait 10 minutes for my turn to buy tickets. I got section 14 on the floor (the last section on the floor) but I did get aisle seats so that's cool.
I think the tickets were $315 each (service fees were around $57 each ticket!) plus I bought insurance for both in case we can't go....so all in all the entire purchase was $800 and change. You only live once and who knows how many more times Paul will tour....This will be 5th Macca show.....Hopefully many more to come.
*I am not new to this site, but haven't logged in since the last McCartney tour and I had to create a new account.
Happy to be back!

Was your screen name different? If so, who were you? Welcome back! I had technical difficulties under my old screen name (Nancy R) so am using this one I had created over 3 years ago with a different email. My Nancy R account was begun in Mar. 2011.

Got my tickets for two shows with a friend of mine. Looking forward to the shows very much!!! Ticketmaster has really raised their fees in comparison to European shows, which is disappointing. If possible I'd say get a hard ticket. The online ones have big fees if you want to resell. Had a problem with a non Ticketmaster company that had an "F" rating on the BBB. Called the banks security department and they were also on the phone call (3 witnesses) Not surprisingly, our tickets had been "resold" so they gave us better tickets for our inconvenience. There were so many reviews saying people who thought they had good tickets, wound up with nosebleed section tickets or useless vouchers. We called the arena and our names showed up in their system. Please be very careful and verify your name is in arena's system too. If you don't use Ticketmaster.
