Perhaps he'll talk about his tour and his new book.

I'm sure he will. I just heard about the book yesterday from my friend in Nashville. Started another thread about it.

He must have a portrait in the closet like Dorian Gray!

First, he obviously colors his hair/beard. Nobody in their 80's does not have grey hair. Second, he is wealthy and he has less stress on him than the average person financially which is the one of the things that ages people. His money gives him the best of everything . He has the best of food, can hire fitness people and buy great equipment to help him stay in shape. He acts youthful because he probably surrounds himself with younger people at home (children, grandchildren) and in the music business. Yes, he looks very good and does not act like some old doddering man but I can honestly tell you I seem quite a few like him on the tennis and pickle ball courts every week so he is not totally unique IMO. Finally, yes I credit him for still looking good and acting youthful. Even with advantages, he still needs to take care of himself and deserves credit. Plus, it helps that he probably is blessed with good "genes". -lol
BTW - I had children later in life and it does make a difference. I act so much younger than my in-laws who are the same age as me. I am so much more aware of things young people (due to my daughters) do or are interested than my in-laws, plus I am more active. Nancy, you will laugh at this since you like cruises. We were recently on short cruise with my in-laws and every day in the middle of the afternoon, they needed a nap (lol) while my wife and I were taking a walk, playing ping pong or doing some other activity. They were heading in for the night at 11pm while we were going to listen to some more music and have a drink (ha ha).

Oh, I totally agree with you on what you said about Ringo. Money certainly helps, as well as good genes!
Btw, I never take naps on vacation and/or cruises! I was usually up talking with friends and one of the bands until all hours! I had my twins at almost 32 which I would consider sort of late. How old were you?

How do you ruin a radio channel that plays the greatest band ever 24/7? Two words....solo Ringo! Specifically too much solo Ringo
