Man I just found out that my girlfriends CC is billed to her old adress where her aunt lives....Now I'm just hoping that her aunt doesn't just throw out her mail. To my knowledge my girl has gotten no phone call about some "VERY SPECIAL AND VALUABLE AND NEEDED IMPORTANT MAIL". Maybe it's time for me to call the aunt. Have you all seen the talk of bringing a pink glowstick to the shows, is anyone planning on doing that for this show? Now even though I'm a guy who is ok with the color pink I'm not so sure how much I want to be waving a pink glowstick around. If it's for Paul though I guess I would do just about anything.

Harleyblues - what are you talking about? The Iowa Events Center is not 2 hours from the Des Moines airport.

Everyone calm down!! Tickets will be available and plenty of them - just days before the show. It is a game the agents play - baiting the fans. I am delighted JPM will perform in NE and IA for all those long suffering fans who have never been able to travel here and yon before!

I don't think anyone was talking about not getting tickets ordered - they were asking about receiving the tickets they had ordered on-line. We were just reporting as we received our tickets in the mail
BTW, I'm hoping to pick up tickets for Omaha closer to the show -
Harley, there is no way the Iowa Events Center is two hours from the airport. My parents house is not two hours from the airport and they are 60 miles away. Have you been to the Des Moines airport? You can get downtown in between 20 and 30 minutes, unless there is a flood and you have to avoid it. The entire area of Des Moines doesn't take two hours to get from one side of town to the other, even during what they consider rush hour, but isn't if you've lived in a really big city.

Harleyblues was talking about San Jose I believe, in a different thread I said that a site had San Jose tix for sale but the costs were almost as much as the fanasylum package, espically when you include hotel, air and car. So what does everyone think about the pink glowsticks.

Then why did she post in here about San Jose. This is about Des Moines, not San Jose. I have two green glow sticks left over from the last tour and will try to find pink ones, but I will go with what I can find.

I'm not sure why she posted that here. I'm not for sure that was what she was talking about either. But hey at least she came and visited our little Des Moines thread, it's nice to have some more company now and again. I would love it if she came to this show also.

Funny I think that my girlfriend will be a bit embarresed if I'm holding the pink glow sticks. Mabye I will have her carry them in for me...not so sure I want to be carrying pinkglow sticks around for too long.

But the pink glow sticks are for a good cause! You can always use green. I'm not going to let the green ones go to waste. I have had them for two years, waiting for another tour.

I'll be going to the Des Moines show, and am thinking about going to Omaha afterwards!( If I can find a ticket)! How about some kind of get together before or after the show????

FYI for anyone coming into Des Moines and looking for a motel - I forgot to mention earlier that there's a Quality Inn .1 mile from the Wells Fargo Arena - so really close but a bit further removed from the eating/drinking establishments downtown. Drove past the arena last night - it looks finished from the outside - can't wait to get in there! Tom Petty will be opening the place in July!

I'm going! I am really stoked that macca is coming to Iowa, AND it's a new arena (though I refuse to say W____ F____ Arena) Also of note, Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson are coming to Iowa in July playing small baseball parks! Yay!
