I am drooling over this. $409 pre-sale price on Amazon. Yikes! I wonder what the book is like. I am assuming different that the booklet in the CD mono box. New essays mentioned, but not sure what that means. I totally want this though. The mono CD box set is one of my favorite purchases, it is so good.

They will all be sold individually as well as the box set. I will definitely pick up the Mono Masters album! Oh yeah, how many different copies of the White Album do I want. At least 3! Pepper too!

The Amazon page doesn't have any details yet, just uses all the info and ratings from the CD box. I would love to know more about the booklet.

It's 108 page hardbound book. As usual I wish they'd sell the book separately. http://wogew.blogspot.com/

True...but like Paul's reissues were not THAT expensive & I'd still rather have just the books.

I definitely applaud the Apple team on actually releasing this vinyl set via analog remastering. It was a head scratcher to see them in 2012 release the stereo vinyl box set from the digital remasters. As hardcore of a fan that I am of this band I don't really buy vinyl new or even collect vinyl beyond the mass of the one's I already own; even then I haven't played a record in ages on the entertainment center. This will once again peak my interest on spinning the Mono cd box set I bought on 9.9.09. This box set actually is more exciting than the repackaged '09 remasters with the American album covers from earlier this year. THE closet way you will get to hear the albums as intended by the Beatles - mono mixes remastered from analog. The way I am assuming the British market heard them back in the 60's up until the White Album.

I'm surprised the set was still allowed to use the Parlophone label.

They are very pricey. $400.00. I'll pass.

I got the CDs too, but this is the real deal when it comes to replicating the original recordings. All analog, direct to acetate. No digital (unlike the stereo vinyl box) $400 seems like a lot, but they are all 180 gram vinyl with all original artwork. Total number of discs (including double white album and triple masters) is 14. they are selling the individual single albums at $26. So, $364 worth of vinyl, plus the 108 page booklet and packaging. Honestly, if I had known the vinyl was going to be released I might have waited instead of buying the CD box, but I got it fairly cheap ($135) so

Would love to buy the box set but unfortunately can't buy everything released. Certainly buying Sgt peppers. The mono version is so much better than the stereo.

I always came back to the songs he was singing,

Would be great, but they include the German versions of "She Loves You" and "I Want To Hold Your Hand". Those two should just be dropped. Totally. From everything! IMO.
