I found it a bit odd that Ringo said he hoped "they" would give the deluxe treatment to The White Album, Abbey Road...and Rubber Soul and Revolver. Who are "they?" He and Paul can...or should be able to...direct what they want done with the catalog, or at least do more than just wonder what "they" may be thinking.

He's clearly not that involved, haha: What role did you take in putting together the Sgt. Pepper set? Giles remastered it, they sent it to me, and I said I loved it.

:Well, not if Ringo wants to hear his drums, which can't really be heard that well in the remastered versions of 2009. They have to go back to all the original tapes and remix them as they did with Sgt. Pepper's and Yellow Submarine Songtrack....to better place the vocals and instruments in the mix. Rubber Soul would benefit the most from a remix. Too often the instruments are on one side and the vocals on the other. The best example of how great all those songs could sound is to compare the remixed Nowhere Man on Songtrack to the one on Rubber Soul. If technology now had existed then, they would have mixed them differently.
