Upgrade
-
Since it looks like I won't be able to sell my Fargo tickets, I was wondering if/how I could upgrade these tickets and pay the difference for one Hot Sound Package. I called the Fargodome. They would be able to do the upgrade if I'd purchased the tickets through them... but I'd purchased them through CrowdSurge during the presale. I know CrowdSurge is pretty adamant about no refunds or exchanges. Has anyone had any success with anything like this? I mean, an upgrade is more money... isn't that all that matters?
-
Got nowhere with Crowdsurge Nowhere with SLO VIP Nowhere with Fargodome. Surely someone-somewhere can upgrade *sigh*
-
SLOTix won't let you buy an upgrade?
-
There are resellers that will buy your tickets. Then you can buy the Hot Sound package ticket. (if still available)
-
Are there resellers who will outright buy tickets I am not going to use?

None that I'm aware of. I am willing to sell for less than face value. Sorry to hear about your mother, maccascruff.

Slotix said they can't do the upgrade because the tickets were purchased through CrowdSurge. I emailed CrowdSurge and said it's a shame that three separate companies handle ticket sales but are unable to work together to do an upgrade.

Oh I see. Yes I guess it is complicated, the way Paul's people have chosen to do the ticketing. I guess your only option is to sell these and then just buy a Hot Sound package, as previous poster suggested. Good luck!

Oh, I've tried to sell them.... Can't seem to get a bite. Below face value, even.

I'm probably the only person who is hoping the tour gets postponed through the July 15 dates. If it does, I will take my money and run. I did call one place that buys tickets, but they said Lincoln is selling too slow and they wouldn't even buy a front row ticket.

Selling too slow? I thought most of the USA dates were sold out. That is what maccareport says.

I just went to Ticketmaster and pulled up Front Row and Hot Sound Row 3 Center tickets for Lincoln show. That's very unusual for this late in the game...So it's not sold out

Maccareport is incorrect. I have checked various venues that still have tickets available, even S.F. which was reportedly sold out.

Where are you finding these tickets for S.F.? Everytime I've looked at ticketmaster it's brought up nothing available.

First mistake is in believing the Macca Report. Last time I checked for Lincoln, they were lots of tickets left. Do not know about the others. I just know I won't be going and need to dump two single tickets, one of which is in the front row.

Thank you. Much appreciated.

I checked Ticketmaster. A month ago, there was nothing, then 2 weeks ago there was availability, but none as of today. I think it changes periodically.

Ah got it. I'd been checking now and then for a friend but always came up empty handed on ticketmaster. I guess it's trial and error.
