SPOTIFY THE BEATLES

The Beatles are becoming irrelevant. The current streaming options are not inline with today's audience. How do we get The Beatles on Spotify?

In what universe do you live in where you think the Beatles are becoming irrelevant? Just because they aren't on Spotify doesn't diminish their reach or influence.

I'm not even sure what Spotify is!
I do have the Beatles Radio app on my phone and it has about 10 different stations to choose from.

I would say since the Anthology in the mid-90's The Beatles have become more relevant than ever. Paul and Ringo continue to sell out all their concerts (with a large amount of young people), The Beatles 1 is consistently in the top 200 on iTunes (in America), Paul recently scored a top 5 hit with Rihanna and Kanye, they're constantly referenced in TV shows and movies (more than any other band or artist), and they are still the bar that everyone compares them to. I would say The Beatles are more relevant than ever. Not to mention these new videos that are about to come out for the re-issue of 1. A person would have to have no shred of curiosity in their body to not know who the Beatles are and how relevant they are today and tomorrow, and forever.

To: Message Board cc: everyone born in 2001-2009 Re Borad: The concerts now a days from Paul & Co don't hold a flame to 1989 tour and the social buzz around mainstream artists today. The majority of kids at these concerts are from parents set on 'opening their children's ears to good music' or those who didn't want to pay for a babysitter. I'm sorry but the streaming options are not in line with today's audience. No one wants to buy music. For artists like The Beatles (or Taylor Swift) it shouldn't be about the money - it should be about sharing great music. (I do realize TS held her music off for the greater good of all artists who are not getting a cut of the money) Freshman in HS: Tell me how you listen to the Beatles? Tell me your not going to buy 5 Seconds of Summers new album (if you even choose to buy at all) before the White Album. PS: loved your tweets saying 'idk who Paul McCartney is but Kanye just put him in the map' after their single came out. I truly hope the most timeless band of all time remains that way..

The Beatles represent an archetypal milestone in human history. Like the invention of the wheel, the automobile and airplane, the radio, the television, the electric guitar, the internet we are posting on and mankind first landing on the moon. Etc. Etc. Etc. I don't see their relevance waning anytime soon. It would be like history and the people of earth forgetting about Einstein and Leonardo Da Vinci.

It's today's audience who is irrelevant. It's up to them to grow up, become discerning, appreciate greatness (instead of celebrity) and seek things out. For all the tools at their disposal, if they arent aware of The Beatles, can't appreciate them, or are unable to research, read about or watch and listen to them, then today's audience is truly a lost cause. And as for Spotify; I suggest using Clearasil.

Did you know there's a TV show on now about Leonardo D called "Da Vinci's Demons?" It's good! (it's in its 2nd season)

People born in 2009 are eating paste and wetting themselves. Their biggest musical influence is Yo Gabba Gabba. What they think is relevant is irrelevant to me.

I'm surprised the Beatles are not on Spotify. I listen to Pandora & I Heart Radio all the time in my car, and Beatles songs are constantly being streamed. I wonder if Apple is demanding a higher royalty fee than Spotify is willing to pay?? Odd.
