Presale for the DC show today...access code: AWARD. Doesn't seem like they've sold many tickets...no surprise considering most of the floor is a $425 VIP package that consists of merchandise. The back of the floor on the Warner is a waste because of the balcony overhang, so no I will not be paying $125-$280 for that. Considering the front of second row of the balcony at $95 each. This whole thing has just left a bad taste in my mouth. Where do they get off charging that for the same show? A great show no doubt, but the first time I saw it I had Row 5 and the merch VIP package at $225. The second time in the area was at Wolf Trap (AWFUL venue experience) in the upper loft for $60. The third time being this past at October...5th row with NO extra merch for $250.......and now the packages are $425 and regular seats are $280? Paul's standard seats aren't $280?!?!?! : : :

I pulled the trigger on Balcony tickets for the Staten Island show. Since the setlist is essentially set in stone I will ponder these questions for the next few months. Will Jumping Jacks be performed onstage? (I hope so that's my favorite part of the show) Will Hare Krishna be included in "It Don't Come Easy"? Will he make the Rory Storm joke before "Boys"? What's the over\under on Ringo saying the following at the show? Whats My NAME?!?!?! Give me that chord!!! YOU know were coming back.....WE know were coming back!!!! Just having a little fun I'm looking forward to the show

BUMP. Tour kicks off this week.

Yeah, a friend of mine from Nashville (not Audi) is going to see him at the Ryman.

Ok...what ate we expecting this time arounf? A completely revamped show? Ringo to wheel out songs from Ringo, Goodnight Vienna and Vertical Man and Ringo Rama? Excuse me, I didn't quite get that. Speak up! What's that I hear? 2: Ah...ok. Gotcha.

Hi all, I've had my eye on some Ringo concert tickets for some time now. The show is in a few days and the ticket prices are unchanged ($150 - $200), even though there are a ton of seats left. (From ticketmaster, not third parties) Should I buy now? Should I wait longer? I live a couple of hours from the venue, so I don't want to go to the box office the day of. It'd be so great to see Ringo and Paul in the same summer.

Watched the show on my DVR. We had a thread here once about mishearing the lyrics. Well, this will crack you up. I always thought it was "Oh the light" and didn't know until I saw the closed captioning that it was "Hold the Line!" Also, until a few months ago when I started reading the Outlander books, I didn't know the phrase "Kirie Eleison" and I thought Richard Page was singing "Carry a laser!" ops: Like that made any sense!

Are you kidding? You never heard Kyrie, eleison? I don't mean that to sound condescending. I'm just really surprised. You know where they got "take these broken wings and learn to fly", right?

You didn't catch my meaning. Yes, of course I heard the song a million times on the radio after it came out. I didn't understand what they were singing. Never heard or saw the song title. Flash forward to 2016 and I see the phrase in an Outlander book and it dawns on me that THAT was what he was singing. Yes, and of course that phrase was lifted from Blackbird.

Ok, I thought you were saying that while you'd heard "Kyrie", the Mr Mister song a million times, you had never heard the song/prayer, Kyrie eleison.

You still don't understand. No, I had never heard any song/prayer called Kyrie eleison. Still haven't. The only thing I heard was the Mr. Mister song, but had no clue what they were singing - thought they were singing "carry a laser!" Last year was the first time I ever saw the words "Kyrie eleison" in the Outlander book! *dead horse officially beaten*

Dead horse recap: Nancy: I've never heard Kyrie eleison, so I thought the Mr Mister song was saying something else. #misheardlyrics Hailey: You've never head Kyrie eleison? #unfathomable Nancy: You didn't catch my meaning. I've never heard Kyrie eleison. #kidstoday #sigh Hailey: So you're saying you've never heard Kyrie eleison? #justcurious #thatslikenotknowingavemaria Nancy: You still don't understand. I've never heard Kyrie eleison. #doesshespeakenglish? I think I do understand. Whenever I mention Kyrie eleison, which is a prayer/song written a very long time ago, you think I'm talking about "Kyrie", the Mr Mister song. </dead horse>
