Leslie and I met up with oobu on Sat. for brunch. Too short of a visit!
We’ve been going every night until real late and had a blast! I was a semi-finalist in the Beatles Trivia and the Name That Tune. Got some cool prizes - Ringo 30th Anniversary concert t-shirt, a white LOVE Cirque du Soleil ballcap, a Beatles VI (U.S. album) small train car, and Cirque du Soleil plastic cup w/straw.
We fly home tomorrow afternoon.

There was this fabulous artist at the Fest named Eric Cash. I saw this painting he had done and recognized it as one that I saw in 2016 inside Woolton Hall in Liverpool. He told me that was the original and he got it signed by all the surviving Quarry Men. He is almost as good as Shannon MacDonald (who did all the paintings in the Hard Day’s Night Hotel and the BeatleWeek t-shirts)
