Can't Buy Me Lunch
-
Is the title of a Rutles song -- not a huge fan of this parody, but I thought we could come up with a few of our own "alternate" titles for a bit of fun.
-
I'll start it off with "Day Stripper"
-
How about "I've Just Seen A Mouse"
-
"Run For Your Wife"
-
"Here Comes The Slum"
-
"I've Just Slapped A Face."
-
"You've Got To Hide Your Gloves Away"
-
"Old Brown Stew"
-
Fun topic! I liked "I Wanna Hold Your Glands" from the movie I Wanna Hold Your Hand, which is really what everybody was thinking anyway!
-
The Bong and Whining Toad Okay, I'm trying!

Good first try John! But Macca was originally inspired by a willow tree in his yard that had grown quite big...it seems the original lyric was actually "The Long And Winding Root"!

Pretty funny! The original lyrics were written while John and Paul were having lunch giving us the original epicurean though somewhat less sensuous "I Want To Hold Your Ham"
-
One that needs no fixin' is 'Why Dont We Do It In The Road'...LOL
-
And then there's the GH rocker "Everybody's Tryin' To Be My Butler"
-
Harrison also wrote a bit of a snoozer called "While My Guitar Gently Sleeps" which the Beatles summarily rejected. He later repenned it into the classic we know!

That one apparently was penned at Abbey Road studios during one of George's innumerable take sessions. John bowed out saying he had to go see his tailor and Paul having brought his gf to the studio that day leaned over and whispered in her ear "Why don't we do it on the roof." She declined so Paul wrote the song!

There were also the tunes on Abbey Road: "Oh! Darnit" and "She Came In Through The Bathroom Door" Which required a bit of rewriting before they were released
