She's got the same smile as Patti.

I've seen all of those photos before and don't collect autographs, but I don't blame her at all for cashing in. According to her book, she received hardly anything from George in their settlement because Eric didn't want her to, so she just took what he offered. A little more from Eric, but still not a huge amt. So, she wasn't in either relationship for the money.
So George and Eric loved her so much, but they did not provide for her future financial security. Not very gentleman like behavior. When women get older, if they are not born with a silver spoon in mouth, it can be challenging to make ends meet. Just because she didn't marry for money doesn't mean she should be left out in the cold. I am glad she is making a living the best she can.
Cynthia only got $100,000 from John in 1968!
John was an a$$ in that situation too. Any man who leaves a Lady in dire financial straits when he could do better is not a gentleman. No matter what their names are , IMO.
And what about poor Julian? He's had to BUY his father's memorabilia.

I agree. It's even worse, if it can get lower, when a man abandons his own DNA for someone/ something not related to him. I have never defended what John did to Cynthia and Julian. Or defended other men who have abandoned their own children. ð??¡ It's really unforgivable. Glad Pattie and Jenny are doing well. ð???

Best book about what/who specifically? (I have about 150 Beatles/Beatles-related books!) Pattie's Wonderful Tonight is really good.

Thanks, but you didn't answer my question. Were you asking about Pattie's book? If I could only take one Beatles book (like on a desert island) it would be Tune In by Mark Lewisohn. (The unabridged version!) He really needs to publish part 2 asap!

Has anybody here purchased any of the 8x10 prints?

I bought a set of the 8x10's but they have not arrived yet. Pattie must sign them as needed because I received an email saying that the pictures would be shipped as soon as she returned from traveling. All 5 came to just less than $100 shipped to the USA, I think this is a great deal. I asked if any other images will be available in an 8x10 (I particularly want the shot of George and the rainbow from Friar Park) but so far just these 5 images are planned.

I purchased two of them back before Christmas and while I figure they would take quite a while to arrive since Patti has to sign them (and she's quite busy so very understandable!), I haven't received any emails or anything, but I do have the order confirmation numbers that popped up after I used PayPal to pay.

The two prints I ordered arrived yesterday!
Now to get some frames for them.

Post a pic of them if you don't mind.

Hi Oobu! Yes, this weekend, remind me if I forget!

My set showed up the other day, they look great, I hope she releases more images in 8x10 so I can afford them

I had Pattie's autobiography--the part which sticks out in my mind 'cause it was so horrifying was when Pattie wrote Eric Clapton treated their wedding as just a drunken joke

I don't remember that, but it's been years since I read the book.
