Unreleased Beatles Songs Coming Out To Extend Copyright

My review: Meet the Bottom of the Barrel
Not quite! According to Mark Lewisohn in his book "Tune In" there are recordings done in Hamburg that have not seen the light of day yet. (I'm not talking about the Star Club recordings, these were professionally done)

The iTunes only release was released this past Tuesday.

No, I mean your bootleg CDs--when did they come out? When did you buy them? Maybe I misunderstood--did you download the tracks off iTunes and burn them to CDs and then make a jacket cover for them?

Aren't you both talking about the same songs?

Yes. I burned the songs from itunes and took two plain cd inserts and pasted the artwork i made. Of course the front cover is the official cover for the release. I then took the front cover into Microsoft Word and hued it Blue to type in the titles. I printed them off and pasted them on the two cd insert i have. I then placed the back covers and "laminated" the covers. Finally I taped both cd covers together. This was homemade at work.

Nice work!

Thanks! Simple but effective for me at least. I've seen much more better 'bootleg' covers but I just wanted something to house the two cd's I burned from the release.

Still listening to this for the first time, in sections. I just listened to that BBC version of "I'll Get You," and it blows away the studio version! This version of "Chains" (track 43) with Paul's prominent harmony is also outstanding!

Okay! Now I see! I at first misunderstood and thought you had bought it like that years ago!

Just pondering: their version of "Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport" with Rolf Harris was left off the recent BBC CD at the last minute because of his sexual abuse fiasco, but I wonder if that track will sneak onto a 1964 installment of this series?

I love Paul's screaming in Long Tall Sally (track 50) OMG what a high voice!

What about 53? A Taste of Honey? Sounds very good. Better than 35 or 24.

That scream at about the 1:00 mark is quite amazing!

A bit more feeling behind this one, yes!

Very nicely written! I don't understand why that "Bad To Me" demo didn't make the Anthology either.

Yes the official release of the tracks are only on iTunes, although they have been available on bootlegs in the past. Marshall
