After 'Out There'
-
After Out There, I think Paul should scale it down a bit. He should do maybe, say, 10-12 gigs a year. If he can do that, he could keep on going until he is into his 80's. He can still play the guitar, but his voice is fading, but if he sees a coach, and does a few gigs a year, he could keep on going. Almost like 2008, but with just a few more gigs. And smaller venues, like arenas, theaters, and maybe one stadium gig or big free show, like Central Park. The reason I'm saying smaller venues is because then the show would cost a lot to put on, in a large venue, and with very few shows, it would mean pricier tickets. He should keep writing and recording, he still is great. But maybe if he scales down a bit, he could keep on going. For example, a totally random tour schedule: MAY 6-- HAMMERSMITH APOLLO MAY 10-- MANCHESTER APOLLO MAY 13-- ROYAL COURT LIVERPOOL MAY 18-- O2 DUBLIN --------------------------------------------------------- NOVEMBER 10-- ATLANTIC CITY NOVEMBER 15-- RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL NOVEMBER 21-- MIAMI NOVEMBER 25-- LAS VEGAS -------------------------------------- DECEMBER 18-- O2 LONDON DECEMBER 22-- LIVERPOOL ECHO ARENA It would help Paul a lot, I think.

I don't think he'll ever scale back...If there is one thing that 100+ Macca shows has taught me...he never changes a whole lot from year to year. And as far as wearing him out...if things stay the way they are..he won't be playing more than 7 or 8 dates in a month. He won't scale back, the visual to him as an artist is as important as the audio. In my opinion smaller venues (not talking about arenas) but like the 2008 ones would cost much more. Not that he needs the money but he still has to get paid (rich or not) I hope we do, but I wouldn't expect another 100 club anytime soon

Yeah, it's small, hot and crowded!! But I would be a cool show to see!

In the main site, it says that he want to visit places where he never has been before, and the world is big...maybe next tour will go to Asia or Africa...who knows...

I have heard rumors of possible talks in 2014 for Austrailia and Japan. But nothing from a solid source, just loose talk right now but it seems that others have heard the same thing so keep your fingers crossed

I have heard from a reliable source that Paul's team have selected at least two cities in Brazil for concerts in 2014: Brasília and Salvador. Brasília was rejected this year because the stadium was not ready, and Salvador was rejected because it's too close to Fortaleza. Another candidate is Curitiba, a city in which Paul performed in 1993.

well, anthing can happen in 2014..clean slate and wide open. However, they don't usually plan this far ahead especially since there will probably be an extra round this year that they haven't started working on. hey field requests every day at the MPL office for places wanting Paul to play so time will tell!! Good luck to everyone, just hope it's a place that I wouldn't mind visiting
