"Sour Milk Sea" - rejected from White Album
-
This is a re-edited version of "Sour Milk Sea" by George Harrison, that was scrapped from The White Album
Looks like someone just took the instrumentals from Jackie Lomax's version and edited to The Beatles rehearsal of the song with George singing lead at Too bad Sour Milk Sea wasn't included in the White Album. It's a good song, and could have been saved for later for the Abbey Road or Let it Be albums. George Martin talks in interviews about his regret at not including more George Harrison songs on the Beatles albums... or maybe there just wasn't enough space for it. This new remix is from "A Doll's House" - a multi CD set of The White Album, with added songs and demos not included in the original release. It appears to be a Spanish language version. Information about what's included in the CD is at I kind of like the cover art, and wondered if that was an early cover design for The White Album... when it was originally called "A Doll's House".... Was wondering if anyone has a copy of this "Doll's House" CD, or if it would be worth it to buy it... It has the Beatles Apple logo on it, but somehow it doesn't seem like an "official" release by them. -
Definitely not official. This is the cover to the 1980 compilation album " The Beatles Ballads" .
