Another great tune with that mid-sixties, British folk-rock, harmony-driven vibe was Chad and Jeremy's A Summer Song.
Great One! "One of the prettiest songs ever written." ~ Mr. Clark from American Bandstand

Other songs Paul wrote about Jane: We Can Work It Out You Won't See Me I never heard I've Just Seen A Face was about Jane. It was written in 1965, over 2 years after he met Jane. More likely about a girl he met he'd like to replace her with! P.S. Before someone says, what about And I Love Her? Paul said in an interview that it wasn't written with any girl specifically in mind. (I bet Jane loved hearing that!)
According to Peter Miles' book both of those songs were written on the piano at the Asher house. Paul would have had a hard time explaining to his girl friend why he wrote a song about another girl at the Asher house.

More likely about a girl he met he'd like to replace her with! The only love song I think he wrote about her was Here, There and Everywhere, but note the lyrics: "I need my love to be here," "If she's beside me I know I need never care" He really wanted a woman to be by his side and not running off for months at a time in a play, like she did. That's why things didn't work out with her, and they did with Linda.

How about Every Little Thing? One of the few songs written by Paul and sung by John. I always assumed it was about Jane.

Yes, he probably initially said they were for Jane, but much later changed his tune, after they had broken up. Who knows with Paul?

Yeah, that's probably right. Read the lyrics: He talks about what she can do for him though. Not about anything he might do for her. When I'm walking beside her People tell me I'm lucky Yes, I know I'm a lucky guy I remember the first time I was lonely without her Can't stop thinking about her now Every little thing she does She does for me, yeah And you know the things she does She does for me, ooh Read more: Beatles - Every Little Thing Lyrics | MetroLyrics
