IIRC...If I Remember Correctly I thought the Charlotte setlist had a few less songs in order to fit in the "live broadcast slot".
I believe you are correct. I think they dropped Fixing a Hole and a couple others? Cannot remember.

As I said before, a few songs are missing. The broadcast last for 120 min while full show lasted an extra half an hour.

I'm confused: Why is my bubble burst again?

Here's the entire show

Yep! That's the show I have.

Yup - so the recording that was based off the FOX broadcast was missing the songs that were dropped as well the ones that were cut out by FOX due to commercial breaks (as mentioned above, Fixing a Hole was dropped - another one dropped was Coming Up...while songs that were performed that night but cut out by FOX included Every Night, Long and Winding Road and a couple of others I can't recall

Are there any bootlegs from Adelaide, and 2 Paramatta shows in 1993? These are my first Paul experiences and want to listen to them again. Especially the night 2 of Paramatta, in which Mull of Kintyre was played!

Because you thought it was the complete show and it isn't, my dear friend. The shows lasted for 150 minutes while the broadcast was 120 minutes. So, no complete show!

I watched the Fox telecast the night it aired. It was somewhat frustrating. Whenever they returned from a commercial break, if Paul was in the middle of a song, instead of continuing the telecast in-progress, they showed incidental footage from the Movin' On documentary -- which meant that we missed even MORE songs.

Yep, glad I was there that night - lol.
-
I remember trying to tape that showing but somehow it didn't work.
-
The Movin On documentary was pretty good.
-
It's fantastic.

Any theories on why the title-track of the album being promoted at the time was left off of Paul Is Live?

I wondered the same when I bought the CD in 1993.

I always wondered that too, however only speculating of course, maybe Paul thought the title track featured on the "Up Close" special released earlier that year.

After hearing that good version again (first time in a while), I remain perplexed. (Brian and Rusty looked a lot less boyish then -- and, man -- Abe was so skinny!!)

Funny to think Rusty and Brian are older now than Robbie and Hamish were at that show!

Yes, but the magic of plastic surgery does wonders nowadays
