I have not seen this ever. I've seen Ringo's staircase that was painted by the same folks who painted Paul's piano.

John had the psychedelic Rolls, now that was badass! I was just reading yesterday about Harry Nilsson's flat in London, the scene where both Keith Moon and Mama Cass met their demise.,, when Harry bought the place he hired Ringo's interior design agency (never knew he had one at that time!) to decorate it, and they got far out with it. Felt walls I read, must have been a sweet place. Another spooky tid bit, in the bathroom there was a mirror where the designer originally inscribed on it a noose in like a fog style on the mirror, so that when someone used the bathroom and looked in the mirror it would look like they had a noose around their neck. But Harry didn't like that and had it changed. Interesting shit. Off topic, but interesting

its like trying to catch the sun on the water..

I read about a woman who became his secretary in that design firm after she left Apple. she had nothing but glowing things to say about working for him. but Geoff Emerick in the book Here, There and Everywhere blamed Ringo for a lot of chaos at Apple. they had just spent millions getting a studio built and then he comes in to rip everything out and rebuild it with his firm's furniture. I've seen John's Rolls Royce. It was at the Henry Ford Museum at a show called Cars and Guitars. I wanted to see a place where the Beatles had put their butts. (and I did )

Yeah, I really wonder what that story is. The article shows a pic of the Threetles in front of the piano but I thought that those recordings were done at Paul's place.

I have never seen this beautiful piano! It looks to have many occult symbols painted on it. Like the Tarot card looking pieces, etc... Love it.

I was going to say the same thing!!! ETA: I just remembered that part of the reunion took place at George's and part at Paul's studio.

Yep. George not being able to work with Paul was part of why their third song didn't happen. To make up for it, he allowed a good part of the Anthology to be filmed at his place Friar Park. Believe me, when that aired, I was so excited to see bits of little things like the fish umbrella stand or that neat front pillars. I took in all the background details.

oobu24, thanks for posting my piano! Just came upon this post looking for "Strawberry Fields Forever" photos in Knole Park. hey_kittay, thank you for the kind words. The left hand panel represents John (Justice-Libra), and the right hand panel is for Cynthia (the Hermit-Virgo) where the central panel represents the four seasons, indeed painted by The Fool, who also painted Clapton's Gibson SG. I believe this is May or June 1967. If I may, a few more pieces Ive done on the pianos. The "Fool Piano" in Lennon's Kenwood sunroom 1967. Virtual tour here... Speaking of pianos of John, I got to see the piano that he used to write Imagine while at the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix.
