I know that the 2 highest packages have the sound checks as well as the dinner. But back in 2011 when I saw Paul at Yankee Stadium, I purchased the $650 Gold Hot Seat VIP package and was invited to a pre show all inclusive dinner. It wasn't vegetarian, but it was a buffet style dinner. Do the Gold and Silver packages still include the dinner before the show? It doesn't say it's included in the package for the upcoming shows. I don't remember what it said for the Yankee Stadium On The Run package exactly, but we obviously went to the dinner before the show that was included and the packages are still the same

I've done the Gold VIP package twice and it doesn't include dinner.

Can you turn the heat up, or are we practicing to be Canadians? Ringo Starr

Hi - There was no mention of a "hospitality reception" in the Gold and Silver VIP packages. No soundcheck included either. They were only included in the $2000 Front Row VIP pack and the $1500 Hot Sound VIP pack.

Yeah I definitely know there is no soundcheck for the Gold and Silver. But back in 2011, we definitely had the all inclusive buffet (non veggie) pre show dinner. It was in the Legends Suite Club at Yankee Stadium, but I don't know how it happened lol It was all so overwhelming! I just knew it said "all inclusive dinner" somewhere?. hmmm well we'll see what happens!

The pre-show dinner for Gold tickets was probably a separately purchased thing. I know that in the past, some venues offered a pre-show dinner that you could purchase from the venue, not part of a concert ticket package.

not all Sound checks - come with hospitality or reception...most US shows do.. some have been better than others~ Some Sound Checks are longer or shorter than others.. depends on when Paul arrives--- just donot- donot bring in any type of re-cording equipment - you'll be escorted out and won't be able to return~ full instruction come via email and mail 2 weeks and 1 week prior to the show~ have a great time !!!

Paul isn't God but he's close to it ")

can you get tickets for the soundcheck but not the front row seats or ones that close? I'd love to do the soundcheck but my brothers are going also as a family deal but they won't pay that price, so it would be just me. We want to sit together for the show, mom would have loved that.

No, sorry. Soundcheck seats are either $1,500 or $2,000.

I couldn't find out how much these tickets cost but for Fleetwood Mac at the same venue that Paul will be at. Wouldn't it be cool if Paul did a few of these? Well...that's not too bad now is it? But that wasn't really the point of my post. Wouldn't it be great of Paul to give us a pic or a high five? lol.

Wow, huge price difference between the Macca packages and the Fleetwood Mac I think a meet and greet is something he should do. In the jazz world you can almost always say hello to the musicians if you want and get a CD signed. Too bad Paul doesn't play the small venues like he always wanted to do with the Beatles.

I think a Meet and Greet should also be included, but seriously doubt if it ever will. I don't have the money to do more than one sound check in my life and I did it in St. Louis. Shelly was not there and there was not a lot of interaction with the sound check people. Paul went really fast through the songs. Our hostess was dull and boring and didn't interact with us either. I was told that had a lot to do with why Paul didn't interact with us. She didn't get us all crazy. It is memory I cherish. Just wish I had the $ to do more.

So, at these sound checks when there's a hospitality reception listed, is that dinner? Wondering if we should eat before the soundcheck? I've seen other band's sound checks, and they're usually in the middle of the afternoon.... Also, could you guys sort of walk me through what the experience is like? How many people come to sound check? What's the best chance to potentially meet Paul? Are the people in the sound check groups usually nice? So very excited to see a soundcheck of Paul's!

So, at these sound checks when there's a hospitality reception listed, is that dinner? YES...vegetarian and dessert. Wondering if we should eat before the soundcheck? You usually line up for SC around 3:00 or 3:30...Soundcheck starts around 5ish. Dinner is after that...around 6: or 6:30. I've seen other band's sound checks, and they're usually in the middle of the afternoon.... More like late afternoon...see above. Also, could you guys sort of walk me through what the experience is like? How many people come to sound check? What's the best chance to potentially meet Paul? Are the people in the sound check groups usually nice? I've been to soundchecks that had less than 100 fans and some around 300...Best chance would be to have a sign that may get his attention (a lot of luck involved here as you can imagine)...I've never had a bad experience with other fans at soundcheck...I always say Paul has the nicest fans!! So very excited to see a soundcheck of Paul's! Enjoy...you're in for a real treat!!

Warning...the soundcheck food varies from venue to venue and is NOT always dinner! In Orlando last year all they had were hors d'oeuvres which were being walked around the room by waiters...similar to a cocktail party. Problem was, the trays emptied quickly and they were slow to bring out more. There was a dessert table where you could serve yourself. My "dinner" that night consisted of brownies. That was the worst reception of the soundchecks I have done, the others were much better, but my suggestion is to at least have a snack before you go.

In Memphis I ate at about 3 which was good because they let us in at 4. Soundcheck was from 5:15 to 6:30 (I think, I know it lasted 1 hr. & 15 mins.), then dinner right after (real nice buffet plus make your own sundae) Finished at 7:30, went to the bathroom and then got to my seat. Soundcheck is a crap shoot. A lot of us had posters, but he didn't call anyone up. He did play Birthday for a woman who had a sign saying it was hers.

Maccascruff I was at that one too and I didn't think Paul was over friendly at the soundcheck and the concert. I thought he was a lot more friendly back in 2003 with the crowd. Maybe that is why, is because Shelly wasn't there. I do hope he comes back he keeps adding more dates on.
