      MetalGod:

I think the best you can do in the meantime is use the internet to have those unofficial releases. It sucks I feel like we'll get a 4k Blu ray release of Yellow Submarine before we see Let It Be released. It's annoying.

Yeah...given the anniversary trend, perhaps we'll be lucky to see "Let It Be" by 2019/2020... : I'm looking forward to having "A Hard Day's Night" on Blu-Ray, but if I had to pick one release, it would be a Blu-Ray remaster/restoration of the Shea concert.

Just wondering how long this will take to announce the showing in July at BFI and also if other theatres are going to show A Hard Day's Night right before the Blu-ray/DVD are release in the UK? I saw the press release at the WOG blog site the other day.

I am usually very good with acronyms but APIMP?( A Paul Is McCartney Paul?) Did I get it right I'm amazed Variety has their movie theatre info out and nothing internationally get considering the screening is the same month. I signed up to the British Film Institute website, newsletters and twitter. I'm on a few other movie news mailing lists and not a peep yet, so just following WOG Blog for now. I taped the film on VHS from PBS(I'm doing it again!!!!) in the 90s, haven't watched it in like 15 years and had a copy of "You Can't Do That". Not sure why I refused to buy it on DVD but now with this re-release on Blu-ray and at the movies, it can't get here soon enough.

Has anyone found the 50 cities yet? I can't find a list or a site or anything. That would be one great weekend! July 4th festivities on Friday, Hard Days Night Saturday, playing a gig Sunday, then Sir Paul in Pittsburgh on Monday!

Looks like Amazon have a better cover now for the DVD. Looks better then the previous one they had a black cover with cartoon like Beatles in different colours. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hard-Days-Night-Anniversary-Restoration/dp/B00KATQSA2/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1403168181&sr=8-4&keywords=a+hard+days+night+dvd

The UK cover that changed from multi-color to black and white, still looks a bit funny looking to me. Thankfully, that can be overlooked, but the USA design was nicer. I'm seeing the film next month at the movies but I will have to buy the Blu-ray ASAP

That would be interesting! I'll bet not many of the original movie houses where it was showing in '64 are still standing. None in San Diego are for sure. Maybe in Europe and U.K.?
