why do they do the general admission thing? i mean is this going to be one of those deals that you hafta line up early for decent seats in your 80,90 or 100 dollar sections? so when we call and select the price range sunday,it's line up time that saturday afternoon? sheesh...

Are we reading this right? Is the term "general" being applied to the sale to the "General Public" to differentiate from the pre-sale and premium package sales? In a theatre setting surely all seats sold will be by row and seat number? The term General Admission as used in stadia and venues like The Joint at Las Vegas where fans queue and scramble to stand close to the stage won't apply here? I don't have the time to research this further at the moment, perhaps someone else can scout round a bit. Martin

Radio City Music Hall has seats. I do not think they would take them out for a general admission run to your place kind of thing. The tickets being sold are on a price scale from $ 80 up. I think that indicates that you are paying for a seat. The more you pay the better your seat. The packages are already on sale. Those who already bought a package will have the tickets Fed Exed to them the week prior to the show. Sunday starts the presale (with a password) for the $80 - $500 seats. Monday is the general sale for what is left of those seats. It seems to be getting a lot of coverage now. Good luck if you are trying for tickets.

Radio City Music Hall has 6200 seats.

There are so many price ranges.I wonder if the cheaper tickets are for standing outside with a dixie cup to your ear.
bring you bionoculars and lets hope they have big screens. who know maybe the back seaters will get lucky and some of these artist will slum it and sit in the back to watch the show. Wouldn't that be special.
Radio city music hall isn't a big venue so it won't be hard to see him..I've had both 2nd mezzanine and orchestra and I saw the stage perfectly.

I'm guessing the 79.50 ,99.50, and 129.50 are for the 3 mezzanines and the 229.50, 329.50, and 504.5 are for 3 sections of the orchestra....Just a theory don't take my word for it hahah

Radio City is deceptively large. If you have seats past 20th row, you are not looking at a great view and forget the balconies. They are in another land. Now this is all wonderful to view a movie and stage show, but if you want to see Paul up close don't count on it here. It's a lovely theater but it's not meant for those close up views. I've never seen screens there, but maybe they will have them. I sat in the balcony for a concert about a year ago, and luckily I didn't care what the band looked like, just how they sounded. The acoustics are really good there too.

thank you!

I'd be very surprised if the "general" tickets are true "general admission" (i.e. no reserved seats). It would be chaos for this type of venue. Given the fact that there are numerous price levels, I feel certain the tickets will be for reserved seats. I think the "general admission" wording is not accurate in the usual sense of the phrase. As Martin pointed out, it's much more likely that they are referring to tickets on sale for the "general public". Radio City is not a small venue, but compared to a sports arena, is a lovely place to see a concert. Good luck to all the fans who will be trying to buy tickets.

They'd have people falling off the staircases and off the balconies if there were no assigned seats. All GA means in this case is that it isn't a premium package. It's open to the general public.

What are the chances of me getting tickets for this event? Where are they lads rehearsing? Does anyone know?

is there no seating charts to see what the lay out will be. This will answer a lot of questions if you can see the seating. If anyone has one please post so we can see ahead of time what it looks like. I sat in Ok seat for Celine and they had a big screan which helps to see the artist facial expression. However sound was just as good. I've had close seats and been by a row and had body blocking my views. So if your not front and center what it matter.

I've checked the Radio City Music Hall site. There's no suggestion that the venue has anything other than one seating layout. As as far as a plan is concerned there's a very detailed PDF to download and view here, it takes a while as it's a very high resolution, it helpfully identifies seats with obstructed views: http://www.radiocity.com/media/global/radio_seating.pdf The consensus of opinion here, and supported by a few helpful PM's is that Radio City Music Hall allocates seats to all events. The venue web-site offers a comprehensive FAQ which may help other questions: http://www.radiocity.com/faq/index.html Martin

it's very possible that i won't be able to go.however i did make a hotel reservation on that saturday night a couple blocks from rcmh. costing me $249 bucks, but it's a nice place and easy.is anyone interested if i opt out? sure they are full by now...

I am so bummed.... When I read the information for the premium pkg, I thought it said to mail in the form.... So I clicked to reserve a spot and Fedexed it right in....but they are telling me that it is sold out....even when the website was still showing limited ability in the morning when my Fedex arrived. Did anyone go for the low priced Premium package and get it? I'm now kicking myself that I didn't fax it in. I was thinking that I might get charged twice, but wasn't thinking that I could just cancel one ops: There is a waiting list....so I'm hopefully waiting.... It is such a good cause so I think it is well worth the price. I expect they will do really well.... wow can you imagine all those lucky people who can afford to do those big premium packages with backstage passes and lots of other good things.... LUCKY PEOPLE!!!

there were a couple of "for further information" phone numbers about "premium packages " on the click through page to the printed form you had to send/fax in.I wonder did anyone call these numbers 212 2456570 this is the number for the David Lynch Benefit Office ask for Debbie Fife or Emily Kline...Don`t know if they will be open on the weekend but its worth a try. Im did not because I decided just to try to get a ticket Sunday since Im seeing Paul In Las Vegas for sure.As for Ringo If seen him a few times and he was pretty good but I have always been a Lennon McCartney guy and John wont be there (except in spirit). As for screens remember that Lynch is visual/cinematic to say the least so he may have some kind of screens.Maybe even some flickering lighting lol I wonder since you sent your name in step one if they are holding these for payment.I did say something about you thingy being received so maybe they are holding so many seats for payment.I doubt it but you might try calling these numbers.I must say the planning on this is a missing a bit. There is a real lack of information.ALSO does anyone know for sure if you have to call Ticketmaster or can you get pr esale tickets on line.I have been told its hard to get through on the phone to them
