David Lynch Foundation Concert

I think some people on this thread should contain themselves, sign off for a while, and try some meditation themselves.

I just want a couple damm tickets at a fair price. I want to see Donovan as much as Paul and Sheryl. This would be my perfect combo. I'll keep my hopes up and if there dashed do to big spender who could afford to buy a private concert with these guys than so be it Alas I'll go to utube?? and watch it. save a few buck too. just not the same. : I agree about opening his house to jet setter. There goes the silverware.

I think part of the problem is the lack of specific information. This concert was announced back in early February, it's now March, and no information *at all* about the ticket pricing has been officially released. It's got nothing to do with Paul setting any prices. I am sure there are some fans who were interested in attending this show, but now that Paul is playing Vegas, cannot do both and are therefore not going to attend this benefit. The charity is losing ticket sales and donations by not providing any information. I bet there are also Eddie Vedder and Sheryl Crow fans who are anxious to learn the ticket prices but who can't wait much longer to make plans, etc. A poster above mentioned general public tickets priced at $90 - that's actually pretty reasonable for a charity event, given that many concert tickets NOT sold for charity cost $90 or more these days. Sure those tickets will not be the premium seats, but they will get you in the door. It just would be nice to have some formal details.

the possibility of a jam is very exciting. Paul and Donovan.
-
If those prices are correct, I'm kind a glad they priced me right out of the game - I can't miss one of my classes and if it (the concert and subsequent possible meet and greet) were more affordable, I may have made and irresponsible choice
-
Paul and Donovan on acoustics.. If I don't get a ticket how I must suffer. I hope he sings season of the witch. And together Norwegian wood or anything acoustic written by lennon/mmcartney and sunshine superman. Gosh!
-
there will be a major anouncment on sunday regarding this show look out for it , non premium seats will be 175-350 .... only problem is that the whole world will eventually know about this show and basically it will be impossible to get in unless u fork over a shit load of money
-
Thanks for that info Krocradio....The scalpers in NY can be RUTHLESS... We'll all have to say our prayers that we can get thru....fingers crossed

I emailed the David Lynch Foundation who just got back to me saying they will be offering a pre sale window to people who have signed up, before the tickets are offered to the public. They didn't say when that would be, but that's actually the same info that we got when we originally registered. So I am patiently waiting. I really appreciate that they will be doing that for us. That's pretty amazing that we have an early opportunity like that.

I just ot the same email Mark~ ops: wow!!!!!!! very expensive!!!!!!!!!! ops:
I got the same email and it lists much cheaper general admission seats - ranging from something like 75 through 500...

I almost bit for the cheaper premium seat(the wife would have killed me!) but I cant afford to pay 600 dollars for a dinner with some signed guitars.Their is no mention of any meet and greet and I have had done VIP travel thing before and did get front row center but that was because of the lottery thing, thee was no meet and greet. Im hoping to get the more expensive ticket Sunday.I have tickets to Vegas but the magic of seeing Ringo and Paul together It will be hard to miss.Im also big on Donovan.Im really thinking he will do a small set because their are so many performers.I can already see the Hey Jude ending with the whole cast and they will probably let Ringo do one or two.I also expect a lot of duets with the likes of Eddie Vedder etc. At least I think we can all get tickets with the pre show code. They said call Ticketmaster.I guess this means no online presales? also does anyone know the best way to get from JFK to Radio City Cab ,shuttle etc

Well Paul must told David the natives are getting restless. I got to wonder if all the complaining this week on the board didn't hurry up the process. I signed up on the DL site but I didn't get any email saying or giving me any password. Hope someone post just incase we all don't get ours. I did get the email 7 hrs ago. Just read it. But I'll be sure to have my finger ready Monday or sunday. Too bad its not this Monday by next week the whole world will know. This is going to be a expensive for us living on the northwest coast as it is. Good luck to everyone!
