When do the premium seats go on sale? Is there a pre-sale? I signed up on the website but still haven't heard anything

I'm waiting too, I find this very strange that we haven't heard anything-the concert is only a month away. Maybe they did credit checks on us-to see if we could really afford the VIP packages?????

I er emailed them to find out why the wait and apparently they are waiting for comformation from Paul's end for a number of things but it should be soon

It's so cool that Paul is giving us so many opportunities to see him in the US! I am waiting on an email too but likely I won't be going to this event... Vegas is going to deplete my Pual funds for a little while... unless he decides to come South!

why haven't they publicized it or informed the people who signed up for email updates? if they expect to sell any tickets and gain support for their charity they should have the information out there.

Today I noticed this picture at the homepage of DLF:
Ringo Starr is mentioned too. I don't know if it is new. I only know I haven't seen it before. Perhaps there will be more information about the tickets soon? edit: I finally discovered where the news about the 14 tickets for $ 100,000 came from: http://www.examiner.com/x-2082-Beatles-Examiner~topic69522-David-Lynch-FoundationThe highest premium package will be $100,000 and include 14 seats, plus soundcheck, rehearsal and backstage access, though there's no confirmation those paying this money will have access to either Ringo or Paul.

dont blame Paul for it. Dont forget this is a benefit concert and is setting out to make cash. For such a small venue it needs the big bucks to be spent. Also remember that this is only the vip package or one of them at least. When you are after that type of money you can get it for those people. Have faith

Exactly. The David Lynch organization undoubtedly came up with that VIP price *precisely* because they had signed Paul to headline the show. Their point is to raise money and with Paul's participation, they can command very high prices. Paul is NOT setting the ticket prices.

Is everyone missing that this is a charity concert - and not one organised by Paul? Paul is not making money out of this.Like it or not, most charities are interested in big donations. The Adopt a Minefield galas were the same.

I never paid more than $1000 for one ticket to AAM. Good seats because they were so small. Second year I attended, I ended up seated with celebs because they took my money and didn't put me on the reservation list. I wasn't seated until the beginning of the event because they had to figure out where to put me, Got to sit with James Taylor's management people.

Like anything else, if you can't afford to go, you don't. It's still a benefit, he won't be the only one on the bill. Are some of you going to Sheryl Crow's and Ringo's website and calling them out on it.

Most of us on this board can`t afford to go to any of the planned shows because we can`t afford the plane ticket, hotel, etc. That`s life. Paul`s fans really do whine alot.

Where on earth did I say that I am blaming Paul for these ticket prizes? I know perfectly well what a benefit concert is and that Paul doesn't set the prize and doesn't make money out of it. Besides I wasn't thinking of me not being able to go. I have been to one concert and I know for a very long time that I will never be able to go to whatever concert he is giving in the future and that's okay with me, as I don't like crowds anyhow. I have never complained about it on this board. Instead I have always expressed my genuine joy for others who would go to gigs and concerts. When I posted yesterday, I was thinking of someone else who would love to go with her family, someone I wish with all my heart she could go. She would need 4 - 5 tickets. I don't even know how much she would be able to pay, but I assume she can't afford to pay these absurd ticket prizes. My wish for her is the only reason I have been looking for news about the ticket prizes. So I was just feeling sad when I read these prizes and I expressed it. Am I allowed to do so? Obviously not! Well, don't worry, I will shut up from now on. No trolling here. Your reactions made me even more aware that Paul's world, including this board, isn't my world at all. I hope many, many children will benefit from the chance they will get to learn the Transcedental Meditation Techniques due to this concert. And I hope those who will attend will enjoy being there, including the ones who will perform.
