Heard Stranglehold this morning. To be honest, I don't like a single song on NEW and not many on Kisses. I think they are using Paul Is Live for the live version of things like My Brave Face. Going to set up the radio tomorrow and hope it works.

It took a Beatles channel to get me to take the plunge.

The Beatles (and Paul) are responsible for this oldie but goodie to dabble her toe into this day's technology.

Missed it ... Something about hearing your favorite Paul songs on the radio... It's so exciting Loving a lot of Ringo songs, that I'm unfamiliar with... Nice

A great initiative, and is great in continuing the legacy, but holds no interest for me. When I want to listen to The Greatest, I just throw on a CD or a DVD, or my I-phone, whatever takes my fancy, whether it be Beatles, Paul, John, George.... admittedly I own none of Ringo's stuff.... I cannot even keep up with what I own, let alone listening to this new channel. But bravo. Just doesn't really get me out of my seat in excitement. If only this was around 30 years ago.

I have all their works as a group and solo, on vinyl, CD, you name it, so yeah (yeah, yeah), I could grab any of them and play at any time. Having said that, I am thoroughly enjoying the channel shuffling them up and selecting them for me including some songs I haven't played in years. "Breakfast with the Beatles" is great as well as the "Fab Forum."

_____________________________________________________ That is very nice to hear. Hopefully Sirius will keep it going for months to come and as it evolves we will hear more Paul from Tug of War onward. So many great songs from Tug, Flowers in the Dirt, Flaming Pie, Driving Rain, Chaos, MAF etc. that need to be played. I understand that it is a Beatles Show and why they are concentrating with the Beatles as a group and the solo material while they were all still around. But at some point for "continued diversity" to their overall playlists, Sirius (channel eighteen) should start to play more Paul, George and Ringo after 1982. Just my opinion.

They have played stuff by them post '82, it's just that you're not tuning in when they're playing it.

Chris Carter just needs to stfu

Why, what's he saying? Or is he just talking too much?

                      talking too much...way too much.

He's only talking for a like a minute or two at the most, and maybe some of the interview segments go a little longer. Is it really that big of a deal?

the dj talking after every 4th song...ok. talking after every song? annoying! and really, what can be said about the Beatles that hasn't already been said a million times? it's not about the dj or what they think and feel about the Beatles. it's about the music. and Miley Cirus? what a joke that was!!

I'm really enjoying this channel more and more...they have some great Beatles commentators on different programs ...On my way to an appointment, I was listening to one guy talking about the Beatles in 1962. He played Besame Mucho from that year...it even had Pete Best on drums! Paul's voice really was in front on that copy, it was so interesting, to be hearing Pete Best's drumming on the song. The band sounded so great!! Wished I didn't have to go in to my appt., wanted to hear more songs from 1962... Hope they play that one again. Wonder how many covers they played back then? Going to buya portable Sirius/XM player, so I can carry it around with me. It's harder for me to read the books, much easier to listen to the radio bits!!

Maybe it's because it is close to Paul's 75th Birthday, but I heard more Paul solo as I was driving doing some errands. I think it was Chris Carter's show in the morning but I heard 4 Macca songs in a row. Besides a couple of Beatles' Paul songs (Martha My Dear, For No One), he played: Stranglehold Mama's Little Girl Then later I heard Alligator (from New). I kind of forgot how good of a track that is. Sounded real good on the radio. Now that is what I want to hear more on Sirius.

I was nice to hear a couple of Paul/Elvis Costello tracks last night and this morning. They played: So Like Candy Tommy's Coming Home Both songs were from the Flowers in the Dirt 2017 Reissue/Remaster (Disc 2). For those who may not have purchased it, Target has the 2 Disc set for less than $20. Great that they are playing these songs on the radio (they sounded great). Hopefully Sirius will be playing more Flowers in the Dirt era songs.. Another seriously underrated period for Paul.

Ron Howard and I have very similar tastes in Beatles music! I've been listening to his Beatles play list for the last hour. It's very difficult to limit your favorites to just one hour but he did an excellent job.

Love the station, but they have got to drop the recurring bit where some guy gives a dreadful dramatic reading of Beatles lyrics. I mean, if they intend to make them sound like lousy poetry, then mission accomplished. Otherwise, it's really embarrassing.

Made my annual 3 month pilgrimage from the Tampa FL area to New Jersey. My Daughter and Sister live in the Northeast. I typically stay the first night in North Carolina so the 2nd day portion of the trip is not too bad. This year I got a new SUV prior to leaving. I ended up with a Ford Escape because of their new, more powerful 4 cylinder engine with 245 Horsepower. It did make a big difference since I am on Rt. 95 most of the way. Anyway I got Sirius radio for 6 months free with the purchase. While I have had Sirius in my old car, it was nice to get it FREE for the upcoming 6 months. This was my first extensive trip being able to hear the "Beatles" channel over the 2 days. It is a wonderful addition to the choices you have on Sirius. I still like the 60's channel (channel 6) and the 70's channel (channel 7) but it was great to get an "all Beatles" choice. My only criticism on the Beatles' channel is the same one that I have frankly with Paul's tour setlist. Relative to the Paul Post Beatles songs (Wings and Solo) that Sirius plays, they seem to ignore songs beyond 1980. You get a lot of 70's Paul, but it was very rare to get much from the 80's onward. Over the 2 days the only Solo Paul song I heard was "No Values" from Broadstreet on the Chris Carter morning show. I have to say it was great to hear. As mentioned, they played an ample selection of Paul's 70's music. Not hearing anything from Tug of War, Flowers in the Dirt, Chaos and MAF was frustrating enough but when Chris Carter played the 12 minute medley from Red Rose Speedway I was ready to drive off the road, get out of my car and scream. If I was going to list 150 of my favorite Paul Post Beatles' tracks (Wings and Solo) the "Red Rose" medley wouldn't make the list. It was like Paul had 4 unfinished songs that he didn't know what to do with so he makes a "medley" out of it. Maybe Paul was smoking too much weed and was thinking he would finish the album with a medley a la Abbey Road. To this day, I don't know what he was thinking. He starts out with "Hold Me Tight" (probably the worse of the 4 songs).... if I heard him repeat "Hold Me Tight" one more time, I was literally going to scream. My only point is that any track off of MAF or Chaos is far, far better than this awful medley and Sirius is ignoring all of those songs. I know that some people are going to say how much they like the ending Medley from Red Rose Speedway. This is just my opinion, but this collection of unfinished songs just sounds like 12 minutes of bad Barry Manilow. Just think that while Paul chooses the "Medley" as his "big" finale to Red Rose Speedway, he leaves off gems like Hi Hi Hi, The Mess, Country Dreamer, Give Ireland Back to the Irish, I Lie Around and Live and Let Die. Still baffles me to this day but it just shows that Paul often has been awful at selecting songs for his own albums. Sorry to get onto this tangent. The Sirius Station is terrific for Beatle nuts like me. It was great to hear the deeper Beatle cuts and Solo stuff from all 4 too.
