Is anyone having trouble with the link?
The lettering is all messed up.
No it isn't...must be your computer again.
You were right--it looks fine on my other (new) laptop!
(and I was referring to the way the page looked in my browser, not a print copy)
Have you solved that problem with closing the windows?
Yes, you have to use a mouse or it doesn't work right. You go to the top left of the screen until the hand appears and you left click and drag the screen (box gets smaller) to the bottom right and it disappears. Pain in the ass. There are also icons that they call "Charms" which are hidden and you have to bring your mouse over to the bottom right to get them to show up (doesn't always happen!) Then you can click on one like "Settings" then "Power" button to turn off the computer (just one example) More pain in the ass.
For your convenience my dear.
: I hate when they do that. This is win8? Remind me not to buy that computer that I'm drooling over.

I don't know if this will help, but Microsoft is offering Windows 8 users a free update to Windows 8.1 Not sure if 8.1 cures the previous ills, and for sure, I would burn a set of backup discs before installing the update, and again, a second set of backup discs after installing the update. This is the official Microsoft Update to 8.1 page: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/update-from-windows-8-tutorial I wonder why MS doesn't include it in their Automatic Updates, in the same manner as a Service Pack, or do they?

Thanks! I'll look into that.

Countdown to the Grammy Special...6 days!
-
It's only a two hour show, 94 minutes without commercials, and there's a lot to fit in. With the cover performers, the Letterman interview, Ringo's and Paul's sets, and them together. I just hope they don't run credits over Hey Jude. But alas, they probably will.

Can't wait to see this one! Think you got filmed at all Randy?

Won't know for sure until the show. Hope so! There were lights shining our way a few times. I think they got everyone during Hey Jude!
-
Thanks for your great "preview," Randy, you've made me real jazzed to see the show
Even more psyched and jazzed, I mean
There will be a certain tinge of sadness now and then with the two other Fabs missing...just a few seconds though, probably

I love that part...seeing everyone on the "big screen" behind Paul...singing along! I have a pic of one of my signs on the big screen during that singing!

I'm glad I already added an extra 1/2 hour to the show! (I'm out of the country right now)

Wish it was longer...the whole show! Maybe they'll release the uncut version. LOL
-
I'm hoping that all of the original material will be used, for sure. Everything else was just the video films that we've come to know, and they were shown to fill time for the audience during the breaks in the taping. They were clips from "Help!", the theatrical trailer for "Yellow Submarine", the film shorts for "Strawberry Fields" and "Penny Lane", etc. Again, these shorts and clips were the original films that are widely available, nothing new. If it was the relatively rare Beatles color kinescope from their appearance on Japanese television, then I might agree.

As I have no way to record this, I'm hoping we don't have to wait 20 years for the DVD!

Here's the review of tonight's show from Billboard. The show appears to be complete.
I just hope the songs are!
