The Beatles have dozens of official videos, Paperback Writer, Rain, Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields, Hey Jude, etc etc These videos have never been packaged and made available for sale. Though many of them can be found in Anthology or the Beatles films. Recently Youtube removed all these videos per the request of Apple and Universal. It was a good go to place to view them, as they aren't available for sale. Why after many years, did they suddenly delete all these videos, even from their own official website! Could it be a new project is afoot to celebrate the Beatles fiftieth in the USA, what other reason could there be? By the way, the first new official Beatles video in 18 years was issued today, to accompany the live BBC version of Words Of Love, alas that video also is not available on youtube.

Im actually not sure... about a year ago, people were saying that the music vids would be released completely remastered but we can see that didn't happen... maybe it will be a special 50th thing? only thing that may say its not a 50th thing is that hey bulldog, get back and don't let me down have been released as music vids on iTunes already...? That just makes everything even more confusing...

Yeah I don't have a clue. They were all available to at least view if not purchase, now they are all gone, just shy of the fiftieth anniversary. I mean in all fairness let people watch them on youtube, or make them all available for sale! They are really good and high quality, the template for many videos that bands created in the succeeding decades, they still look fresh and creative.

I've got them all sitting on VHS tape... but I don't know what is harder... finding my old VHS recorder or trying to work out how to hook it up to my digital TV.... and then finding the tape, which I think I recorded with Get Smart and Twilight Zone... and by the time I work that out, it'll all.... HOPEFULLY... be released on DVD... and hopefully before DVD's becomes antiquated.

Take the VHS tapes & get them transferred to DVD.

I still have my VHS player hooked up to my TV. And I keep a record of what I taped and what tape it is on. I just discovered I don't have Penny Lane though.

Thanks! The part at the end where the table gets flipped and Paul about drops his beloved Hofner kills me! Tried to download it and it failed! Will try again. Now I'm re-downloading some videos that have disappeared (no longer will play) like You Can't Do That (live)

Got Penny Lane & You Can't Do That to download. Some videos have disappeared off youtube, like I had one of Eight Days a Week (live) that I can't find there. If anyone can provide links to that song video or "Flashback, Paul McCartney Plays Abbey Road Medley in 1997" I'd appreciate it!

I still wonder why they haven't released them all on (official) DVD yet. Maybe there are copyright issues. It's a winner just waiting to happen. Ironically, whilst I may occasionally bemoan the Facebook/twitter/instagram side of technological advancement, I can't quite fathom the task of having to fast forward and rewind my old VHS tapes.... seems like such hard work. Then again, I even have nightmares harking back to my infant days when there was no such thing as a TV remote control.

Can't fault you there. Believe it or not as I wrote that, I said to myself, what about paperback writer, or penny lane! or Rain, the Day in the life one is awesome too! I'm not sure if that one was edited specifically for Anthology or what! O o OH< Free As A Bird might be the best one! the Sgt Pepper people and the Elephant, and all the clues! God I wish they could have done a few more in the modern era with modern technology!< the new BBC video is pretty good, not insane good, but nice I can't choose I can't God the Hey Jude one is kind of awesome!

Just found the 1997 Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End (an even longer clip) Here he sings "sleep pretty darling" which is like the original--now he always sings "sleep little darling."
