A poem for Macca

The Tears Started Gently, Then Fell Like Rain I Felt for You Macca, I Too Know The Pain You Wrote It For Linda, You Didn't Know Why When You Were Both Happy Why She Had To Die In A World So Immoral You Both Lived Each Day To Be With Each Other For Ever For Ever And Aye Yes, I'de Hear Your Song, It Stays In My Brain Especially Those Words I Hear Over Again I Try To Forget It But It Comes Back Once More You Know It Cant Happen, But Still You Implore With Words Full Of Sadness, "Lead Me To Your Door" Those Indelible Memories Time Cannot Steal Wrap Themselves Round Us, They Say Time Will Heal But It Never Does, Its Just A Cliche Because They're Embarrassed And Don't Know What To Say Of All The Emotions We Meet In Our Life Anger And Pleasure, Trouble And Strife Despair Is The One We Cannot Overcome The Long Winding Road Paul Yes, You Were Right And I hope Round The Next Bend The End Is In Sight Author David Cosburn Care Home Merthyr Tydfil for Paul McCartney.
