Here is a copy of a personal message sent to Mr. McCartney's Facebook page which includes a picture; "Hello Mr. McCartney; My name is Gary Latendresse, my wife Tracey and I are raising Autism Awareness by getting people to take pictures with a plush turtle named Neptune an his friend Harmony the Dolphin. All we want to do is make everyone aware that being Autistic doesn't mean we should turn our backs on them, lock them away, they are human beings too (of course I am para-phrasing)!! I have been able to get Canadian political leader Justin Trudeau, Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson, Five Man Electrical Band (whom I used to work for) to pose with our old mascot, a plush polar bear named Tikko. I even got Prime Minister Harper involved. On Oct. 5th, 2013 and again on Nov 30th, 2014 had photo op with Steve Hackett (Genesis) and his band. I also lined one up on with Randy Bachman of the Guess Who, Sass Jordan and also his opening act Cooper Brothers (whom I also worked for). Also was able to get Patrick McKenna whom played Harold on Red Green Show. The list goes on with Gowan and James "JY" Young of Styx. We have done huge photo op with cast of 22 minutes as well as other comedians at the Crackin' Up The Capital as VIP guests. Would be great if we could meet up and get a photo op with you and our mascots when you play in Toronto, Ontario Canada at the Air Canada Center on the 17th of October. We are trying so hard to get 5000 Likes on our page and to spread the message of normality in Human Beings is a relative term. No matter what ails us, we are all the same! Check our page at www.facebook.com/speakraisingautismawareness. When we go to Toronto and accommodation expenses incurred will be paid by me. Not an easy feat due to me being on Disability and barely get by but, even if I have to pawn something, I will make sure we have the funds (this how I lost my dad's ES335 which I inherited due to his death after playing a gig out of town and not making it home but, of course this is another story facebook.com/waynetenderlatendresse). Sincerely Gary Latendresse"
