Hi my mane is Marie Darwin, children's nursery nurse and recently children's author, I have always felt that I would like to bring the Beatles story to the next generation, so for the children in my nursery I started to write Paul's story in rhyme, my friend illustrated some pictures to go with words and the whole thing has really took off, I had the book printed and the children all have their own copy as well as the nursery copy. One little 3 year old carry's his own copy around and can recite the story, knowing who Paul's parents were, what bus he got to school, where he played guitar. The children have also just completed a local radio interview were they were so excited and sang WHEN I AM SIXTY FOUR. I am proud of the book, but more proud of the children and how it has extended their knowledge of their culture and of course of PAUL'S story. The story has a continues lick saying THIS IS THE STORY OF PAUL MAC, A BOY FROM LIVERPOOL WHO PLAYS THE GUITAR, COMES WITH US AND SEE HOW HE WENT FAR. You never know he might take over from the bear hunt in years to come. From Marie and the children from little Explorers nursery, Liverpool. Marie Darwin
