Does anybody know if there will be extra trains/busses after the concert heading to Düsseldof Hauptbahnhof or the station at the airport ? Because regularly after ~23 o clock there seems to be no busses or s-trains around, at least around the Esprit Arena...

I asked the same and Petra 1701 replied me "Normally local transport does run longer than the end of the concert, you will get back to the center"...so I'm hoping there'll be that service.

I will attend the concert too. I did some research on the local transport possibilities (I'm also studying in the city since 2013). As far as I know, the last subway train from Esprit Arena to city will leave at 22:05 and arrives at 22:25 at the central station. There are no buses around that place and time. So all we can hope for is that the Arena itself will offer some kind of transportation, otherwise it will be a long way to go.

I went to see the Klitschko - Fury fight last november, and there were trains running every 3 minutes to carry the people back home. On days where there is no event, there are no trains. But there will be on the day of the McCartney concert. Trust me. Even if the tube homepage says otherwise.

Oh that's good to hear. So we can enjoy the concert without having to fear of getting lost in the night. I'm really looking forward to see Paul in my second hometown. Last time I saw him was in Cologne, in 2011. So it will be the first time for me to hear songs from "NEW" live. I hope he will do "Everybody Out There". But the last time he played it was in 2014, so the chances aren't that high, or?
