My attempt to support independent music artists

I have started a monthly music showcase in New York City I call The Big Apple Indie Music Series aka TBAIMS. Each month I invite up to five different independent music artists of different genres to perform a live 20 minute set at a venue I use, which is currently Toshi's Living Room on 26th Street and Broadway. I also invite music, entertainment, tv and film industry executives to all of our showcases and they are live streamed via Gander.tv. It is my way of paying it forward to support the independent music artists. Currently, via TalentArmyPromotions and Reverbnation, we are getting from 2300-34o0 submissions each month from music artists that want to perform at our showcases. I am very careful of who is chosen based on their stage presence and abilty to sing live without being pitchy. We are getting nothing but positive press each month on our showcases.
