Have you ever been able to convert sb into vegetarianism?

I started this week, after I saw the PETA documental, it's really hard to see how they make suffering the poor animals. And untill now I going well.

I've been a vegetarian since 2007 and at the beginning of this year I decided to go vegan. A few weeks ago, I managed to convince my brother, my mum and one of my friends to go veggie.
I did not try to force them into something. I just tried to help them realise what's really going on in all those factory farms by showing them some videos and documentaries. And it worked. 
Sometimes it's quite easy to convert other people to vegetarianism, 'cause sometimes confronting them with the truth is all it takes. And yet, there are still people that will never understand that there's nothing good about eating meat. -
I don't believe in converting people into anything whether it's a lifestyle choice, diet, or religion but I do share my views. I've gotten many to eat veg food, try it and even enjoy it and seek out veg groups or places to get more.
