Are you very happy with regards to a previous post, or very happy with regards to something specific? Perhaps even pertaining to the threat title???

Just .. ummm, happy .. at nothing specific. Tho, just 'maybe' some more dates will be anounced, that 'may' make things a bit more hopeful that 'if' Paul could get down here, it would be more likely. I still won't be changing my plans to travel OS to see Paul tho .. not yet Greg

Say more! You know you wanna! Edit: Saw your post on another forum! Fingers crossed!

Lets keep them crossed, if a Japan visit is anounced, that will be our best chance of getting a visit down here by Paul, i have heard one other whisper .. but i'm not going to give that away, i've had my hopes raised too many times, only to have them dashed.

I can confirm to I have heard Japan is on the cards to. Does it mean he will come here who knows. He toured Japan in 2002 and didnt come here so it might mean nothing.

He toured Japan in 89 and we missed that too. He toured Japan in 2002 and in spite of what happened, he WAS going to play here. This Japan trip? It's our last chance. Yibbidy Yibbida - that is all...

Hey Chris, I just went back to page one. It was just you, me (I was under the name maccaluva then) and Belinda then. Then kazgirl came on. I wonder where they are now. We both joined in 2002!!!! If Paul could see how long we have been writing about him coming to Australia, maybe he could offer front row seats????? Cheers Chrissie

He should most definitely haha!! Yeah I'm proud we've kept it going!!! Never ended up getting a response from Belinda when I tried messaging her but hope she's doing well.

People... He ain't coming. Japan is as close as he'll get to us. He ain't never coming back. Every other act big and small continually tour here but he won't come. It's bitterly ironic that the wealthiest man in music will only charge top dollar and play in markets with huge population bases. That can be called business, but it's pure greed in my book. The last few "world" tours have been talked up, "we're going to places we haven't been and visiting places we haven't been to in a long time." BULLTISH!!! He really doesn't care about his fan base - he cares about his bottom line. I'm over it.

I'd give it until the end of the year before throwing in the towel.

I have it on good authority that moptops is right. "Other commitments" in the UK either side of the Japan tour dates. From an economic point of view Australian tours are piggy backed to Japan tours to reduce costs. If he isn't coming here this time he most likely won't ever. It's all about money.

He ain't NEVER coming back - and worse, NOBODY in the know has the balls to tell us that!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All the speculation, all the press glimmers of hope through the years have been planted by PAUL himself... All just blatant lies... Here's just one example of the spoon fed drivel he's dished out to us... -- The 69-year-old said his last plans to tour Australia were cancelled after the Bali bombings in 2002. "Actually the last time we were very nearly there, it was just before the Bali bomb and we were almost going to go but then suddenly we were like: 'It's not time to be jolly.' But ah, so we're still working on it," he said. http://www.smh.com.au/entertainment/music/we-can-work-tour-out--mccartney-20120204-1qz8m.html

Yup. Paul's people were in negotiations for a May 26 show in New Mexico, but when the numbers didn't add up (ie it wasn't enough money) Paul went to Memphis instead on that date. The media were told his tour was "re-routed" which is BULLTISH, as you say. I don't begrudge anyone making money, but I don't have to be a part of it or think it is such a great thing. I am curious about Australia, Paul has played there before, I suspect he can make money there as well as anywhere else. Why won't he play there??? Maybe you will get a surprise next week and four or five shows there will be announced.
