Additional Live Songs from New for 2014 Tour
-
Let's say that Paul gets more aggressive in his 2014 Tour Setlist and does 7 Songs from "NEW" including the 4 he has already done. What would be your "dream" additional 3 songs. Mine would be: Alligator - I think he would have no problem singing this great song. His Band played on the album version. Early Days - Love to see Paul play Early Days and drop Here Today (His tribute song for John) I Can Bet -- Another great rocker to add; he could drop Let Me Roll It.
-
'Appreciate' 'I can bet' 'Looking at her' (however, if 'Turned out' was officially part of the album, i'd choose 'Turned out' instead
)
-
Alligator Early Days and then either Hosanna or Get Me Out Of Here
-
Alligator Looking at her Road
-
Alligator Appreciate Early Days (or Scared)
-
Appreciate (alternate with Alligator) Road Get Me Out Of Here
-
Think he will be playing: Save Us Everybody Out There Queenie Eye Possibly one more.... Not sure he will have 7 "NEW" songs on the next tour...

Sure, this tracks will be surely played but the point is if Paul will add other "New" tracks. I think no but my dream would be hear "Alligator"-"Road" and "Looking at her"
-
Appreciate Alligator I Can Bet
-
Alligator Early Days Road
-
I would like to hear the whole album live, actually. "The New Tour"

I agree totally with you selections especially "I Can Bet".

I've been trying to think which ones would fit into the set. There's no denying that this NEW album is Paul Goes Contemporary and in an awesome way but I don't think all the songs would fit into the style of show he seems to do, as varied as it is regardless. We know Save Us, New, Queenie Eye and Everybody Out There work but Appreciate, Looking At Her, Road and Get Me Out of Here are probably a bit out of style for it. Which is a shame because Looking At Her is one of my favourites from the album. Alligator, On My Way to Work, Early Days and Hosanna would probably work for the acoustic sets (with On My Way to Work being the transition piece like Mrs Vandebilt). Outside of that, I think I Can Bet would fit really well in anywhere and I'd love to see Scared in there somewhere, it's such a beautiful song. I don't know where to stand on Turned Out because it's a good song that I think would fit but it was only a Deluxe-Edition track so I doubt it's likely to be played.

Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey? Was this ever soundchecked or rehearsed does anybody know? I know Paul did mention this specifically in an interview...saying something like "we get a lot of requests for it - but it's a bit difficult to pull off live."

I have read in a book by Luca Perasi, who Paul have rehearsalsed this song during the 93 world tour.

Apart from the batch from New he's already played live, I'd like to hear I Can Bet and Alligator. I love Appreciate, but I don't think that will work live. I don't mind, as long as he starts the show with Coming Up, keeps most the newer Out There additions and does a reasonable amount from New.

"Struggle" live would be far out
