Digital Downloads--Is the Redeem Button Broken?

Anyone have any success finding someone who can help us?
This is ridiculous & really has left a bad feeling with many of us. Those darn sets are expensive & for the DL cards to not work is inexcusable. And then for all the people complaining to not even be able to get an answer is just terrible. If Paul ever goes on tour again I think some signs complaining about this should be made. Although he probably wouldn't even know what you were talking about.

I find it really disheartening. To be honest, I think I tried to download one of the other deluxe sets but could never get that one to work either. I forget which one it was. With some of the vinyl / deluxe sets I bought, I didn't try to download the files in time and the codes had already expired. Oh well. But when I bought the RRS double vinyl I knew that I would want to download the mp3 in order to play the set using my computer but...not to be. The Wings box set was a massive investment for me and the hi-rez was part of the package...or so I thought. It's made me feel a little crazy (and ripped off) to NOT be able to download the files as the deadline (as stated on the download card) draws near!
It's been frustrating to keep trying and trying all this time with no resolve and finding no one to help. As of yesterday I put the download cards back in their respective packages as I've had them pinned to my refrigerator for over a year serving as a reminder to periodically check back on the links.

Hi NancyR and thanks so much for trying to help! I tried the links but those pages are no longer available and can't be found on the web. I wonder if there is a way to try and contact the admins of the Maccaboard in an effort to see if they've heard anything? I may try and poke around the website again to see if there's any way of contacting them. It sounds as if this situation of not being able to redeem our downloads is not something new and it would be great if there could be an announcement somewhere on the website letting us know what to do.

This release is now six years old and I suspect that the 'redeem' offer has expired. This does seem unfair given that you have only recently purchased the album but, and again I'm only assuming here, the option to download is probably only for a limited set time after the albums release and not for a set time after the albums sale.

I'm sick of this. Products should not be sold that are not fit for purpose. I'm still trying to download the RRS and Chaos...LPs. As the albums are not as advertised they breach the Consumer Rights Act 2015 so I'm hoping to report those responsible (if I can ever figure out who it is!). I'm starting to put this on my twitter but it's a newish account so not getting much traction. If anyone wants to 'like' the relevant tweets it might help (you don't have to follow or read any of my other nonsense...this isn't a plea for followers!). Also don't be put off by the suggestive name...it's really is about albums

Just tried again today....and it worked! Finally managed to download the Chaos...and RRS double album! Still seemed to be some technical issues but went in via paulmccartney.com/redeem/chaos-vinyl and it all worked.....at last!

Anybody have any luck with the Redeem button these days? I complained a while ago about having bought Venus and Mars and WOA only for the *still advertised * feature of high-res downloads being seemingly unavailable. Any updates or resolutions would be appreciated.

I paid $150 for each box set and none of the codes work. Please help. I paid the premium for ownership of songs not avaialble to anyone else. I contacted DropCard they told me to contact MPL, MPL told me to contact PaulMcCartney dot com, they told me to contact the record store, record store told me to contact Paul McCartney, his number is unlisted.
Please help, I'll send you photos of my codes you can issue new ones or links to download the music i paid for. Both the CD boxset code and the Vinyl Codes dont work by the way.

Have you read any of this thread? It's an ongoing problem. The downloads only seem to work if you buy it when they originally are released and not years later.

I have a solution for these download problems. Why not exchange the High Res Tunes between us having a problem ? Ex: I have the Tug of War High Res, so I can send them to someone that can send me the Wings Over America High res. As McCartney team can't resolve the problem, we the buyers (expansive box set $$) can resolve this ! We all paid for the High Res but we can't obtain them from the guy in the first place is selling them ! So it's a scam if Macca team can't resolve the many issues as stated here in this board.
