After I log in to the forum, I often get this message when I try and post both on Safari on a MacBook Pro as well as on IE on a PC. If I refresh the screen, it then accepts my request, but it's very annoying to have to go through this forbidden screen every time. Sometimes after rebooting on the Mac it does not happen and at work on a PC it does not happen. I've never had this problem on other sites. Here's the full message. Forbidden You don't have permission to access /phpBB2/login.php on this server. Also I seem to get continually logged out after about 10 minutes on inactivity which is very frustrating and I will lose posts when I am auto logged out. The "log me in automatically" check box does not seem to work either for some reason. Thanks for any help.

Hi Erik, Sorry about the delay in reply, it's a snow day here and I have been busy digging out from yet another snow storm. So sorry to learn that you are experiencing these issues. At the moment, we have no other reports of such. I am currently browsing with Firefox without issue and have also tested IE and Google Chrome without issue. About two years ago, we had various members experience the issues of which you write. There were a few ways to work around the issues, but none were completely successful in the end and created frustration such as you have noted. As the issue is specific to you at the moment, we suggest the standard advice, try deleting cookies for this site, clearing cache, and history. Also try alternate browsers such as Firefox and Google Chrome. Regarding auto log in/remain logged in, sadly these options have been out of service here at the message board for quite some time. In the past, the technical team had been alerted to these issues, but for whatever reason, the issues were never resolved. There was a time when a plan existed for this message board to be integrated into the main site. At that time, it was my understanding this was the reasoning behind leaving certain issues unaddressed as they would no longer be applicable once the message board was integrated. As a result of this intended plan, we all learned to live with the outstanding issues as we had hoped they would be resolved once the message board was integrated. To save you a step, I have no idea if the intended plan of integration remains in place. I hope this advice and explanation is helpful. When convenient, please let us know if the issues persist. Anita

THANK YOU, (((((PAUL)))))!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!
