Hello! Any of you experienced Paul concert-goers have some insight as to which presale is better or if there is a difference at all? Are the tickets for the fan presale the best available and the AMEX the next best? For the concert I want to attend, the fan presale is a day before the AMEX but I think I want to be in the stands this time (I'm very short). What's your advice?

You are going to an outdoor show. There should be plenty of tickets for the AMEX pre-show. I did AMEX last summer and that is what I plan to do on Thursday for an indoor show.

I would check the PM presale first to see if they had seats I like. Then I would check same during AMEX presale. If nothing good, would finally check public sale as soon as it opens. I've found sometimes the presales have awesome seats and other times they have crappy ones.

If you definitely do not want VIP tickets (just regular seats) still get on pm.com website at 10 am Weds. and go for the tickets you want. I'm not sure, but can't you select non-floor seats? (do not select "Best Available") There should be a drop-down box to pick the type you want in the stands. If you wait until the AMEX sale you will be way back in the arena (a friend of mine ended up in row K (Atlanta) but the section is at the rear of the arena) Then by the time the public sale is on, there will only be crappy seats left.

Do every pre-sale until you get the seats in the arena. I've been skunked twice on the Macca pre-sales so far this year (third straight going back to last year - my belief is that the McCartney pre-sale has very few seats, so unless you are one of the first in you will probably get skunked- but try). Unless you want the high price seats (I don't, i'm taking the family so I need seats more on the 'crappy' end) they sell out almost immediately. I refreshed right when my clock went to 10am and was unable to get any seats. SO my advice now is get on the pre-sale a couple of minutes before 10 (which I did) and instead of waiting until 10 to refresh start refreshing about 9:57 constantly. I then did the AmEx pre-sale using my friends card, I managed to snag 2 there - one price level higher than I really wanted, but it was all I could get. Wanted 4, got 2 in section 306. Sometimes the arena/promoter has a pre-sale as well. Then work the general sale. I'll be doing that Friday hoping to get 2 more so my whole family can go instead of just me and my son. I've also been trying to win the radio contest tickets this week but haven't made it through yet- they must be getting alot of calls because I am getting all circuits busy try again later. Good luck! Remember any seat is better than no seat. You can't enjoy the show if you aren't in the facility. RamblinRed

I have had very good luck with tickets at the Amex pre-sale, when I wasn't wanting on the floor. I don't want the floor if I can't be in the first 10 rows and that pretty much requires a VIP package of some kind.

I didn't check my emails last year and missed the pre sale for Indy and Milwaukee. I ended up with Ticketmaster when they went on sale to the public and got 16th row isle seats in Milwaukee for about $250 per seat. I got on late for Indy and got 200 level seats. Not doing Amex, but here is a radio WDRV pre sale Friday 10 CST, gonna see what they have. If not I will do Ticketmaster Monday. Hope this helps others trying to get tickets. http://www.wdrv.com/contestEntry.php?contestid=mccartneyuc14
