It's hit and miss with the log in for me. Sometimes it's okay, other times I have to log in again. And like everyone else my threads aren't getting marked as read

Those are the exact same problems I still have. On the other hand, ever since the change I all of a sudden receive notifications of messages posted in the thread I posted in. I already had that box ticked on the 'old board' but I never got any e-mails, now I do

Well, for those who've bookmarked the site, it is a little unclear. On my old bookmark, I simply had a message that the board was down for maitenance. That is normal enough. I let it go for about two days. For some odd reason I went on through Paul's homepage rather then my bookmark and I merely thought the board had been reinstated as 'up'. Only when I accessed it through my old bookmark again did I find it had actually a new URL. I hope others can figure this out too.

And it's been in response to links to the new addy. Well, the notifications were o.k. but now I get too many so switched them off. Login in all the time is a pita. Shouldn't be too hard to fix it, hope they fix it soon.

I just checked it again. Every session when I come back to my computer & get online, I go to my yahoo account & click on a new topic notification...with the new addy...& I have to log in. TWICE in a row. I can recreate it. So, I actually logged in like 5 or 6 times already. Yep, new & improved...

In Firefox I had the page booked marked- when I click on it even STILL it says the site is currently down for maintenance~ huh??
I haven't been able to come on site for 2 plus days - did someone not pay the lighjt bill? what are the NEW Changes? everything looks the same too me.. -

I haven't been able to come on site for 2 plus days - did someone not pay the lighjt bill? what are the NEW Changes? everything looks the same too me.. what we've had to do is go to the board through the 'fans' link on paulmccartney.com and then resave it to favorite's by clicking on the favorite tab. When it says there already exist a saved site with the same name, do you want to replace it, click yes and it will save the new board URL to your bookmark.

Maybe the mods are locked out too! No one has answered any of these probs. Oh & BTW...coming back online after dinner...I had to login again! What is going on??? I am using notifications to get here.

I've had to log back in after a period of time of not being on the forum for years. That isn't new for me.

We are around, and are forwarding these teething troubles reports where someone with the knowledge to address them can consider the issues. As to the "what's new" question - the whole data base and operating software has been transferred to a new location and server - hence the need for the new url. We believe that it's somehow linked to the future plans for the main site and message board hinted at in the US "On The Run" tour brochure. Those changes were promised for "The Fall" and by all signs that season is upon us now, so hopefully we'll find out soon. Martin

Well this is new because it is happening during the timespan of hours not years. Everytime I get back on the computer (in one day) & use a topic reply notification to get here...I have to log in. Yesterday I logged in at least 7 times. Today so far...once.
